most beautiful song I ever heard. Brenda Lee sings it so so nice. Sounds like a song written in the 1920's, GENE AUSTIN would have song this tune.

This wasn't a new song when Brenda recorded it in the early 60's but her approach is just magic and in my mind, eclipsed any others that came before it. Wonderful, love this so much!

This beautiful song, "We Three" was written by my father, Nelson Cogane, the prominent ASCAP lyricist and songwriter. The Brenda Lee version which I have heard many times before, is just so beautiful. The moving and romantic lyrics of "We Three" were written for my mother, Dorothea Cogane before my parents were married. My mother, a concert pianist, was my father's inspiration. I'm so very proud to have had such gifted and amazing parents.

This Brenda Lee version was a favorite of mine when I was a teen growing up in that era. Just re-found the song after searching for the Paul Mccartney/Diana Krall version, which I think is also excellent Great song, and great anecdote by you!
