8/28/19 who's listening?

This song came out a few months after my mom put a restraining order on my dad, one of the lyrics in this song. I didn’t see it coming and from that moment on they’ve been separated. This song comforted me knowing that things would work out for good and God gave me peace and hope. And although the “ideal” situation didn’t happen and my parents aren’t back together, I can tell you that things did work out for good. I have confidence in God’s promises and I came out a changed person because of Him. I love my mom and dad both as much as I did and I think I understand life better than before. Thanks to God’s perfect plan❤️

You helped me connect with my teenage son who said religion is ruining our country. I said no Juju it's other things. And then River of Jordan appeared and it just all made sense. MY SON WAS RIGHT! What our youth are standing up for and so angry about is religion and that all these years a lot of those so called Christians made you feel like we are supposed to do everything a certain way and if you don't you are judged. THAT is not walking with authentic love as such Jesus was trying to spread in his word. So, all and all....I am so thankful that Lecrae's (gift) purpose in life is to reach the people WHO JESUS CAME FOR! WITH his lyrics and boldness. We are not meant to fit in, we are meant to stand out. Thank you Jesus for guiding me to Lecrae so that I can be apart of reaching our youth with relatable situations and music. I'm so excited for what's happening and the guidance to stand up and walk with authentic love to show them that it does exist!!! So many teenagers (including nieces and nephews) will hear the words from the Holy Spirit through Lecrae because he is authentic and doesn't speak from the flesh. Love all of God's children equally....Amen oh and I'm most definitely attending your tour this year when you get close to Bradenton, FL.
