Ive been searching for this song since 2011. Didnt know the name of it. And how do you hum it to someone so they get which song you're taking about. I waited till i heard it on the radio. Then 2016 I heard it randomly on the radio and i shazamed that shit. I feel so blessed. :)

At the time i went through JJJ hottest 100 list from 2010 to 2015 ( Surely it would have been in there?)
And it wasn't. I found a lot of tracks using Shazam. But only if the track is playing and you can hear it.
For 5 years i had that song in the back of my mind. Until it played on the radio in 2016. The thing is when it comes up i was surprised cause ive heard of LCD sound system. i just didnt know "Home" was one of them.
Thanks to Shazam, i have it now. :)

@ralfums Completely different ideas? I don't think so. The similarities are too apparent to ignore. It's not an exact carbon copy but they definitely have the same plot line, the video being any longer has nothing to do with it. p.s. both videos are great but don't be surprised that LCD Soundsystem's music video is better. It was done on a bigger production scale by professionals vs. Brian's high school video.

0) beginning scene, the guy sketches out robot designs
1) robot looks similar
2) goes into garage to make robot
3) using [pc] parts putting it together
4) robot escapes from owner
5) robot seeks [friends,love] but gets ignored
6) robot makes its way back to owner

this video is awesome and made me laugh :-) love the face on the robot!

also, i watched that grizzly bear video and it doesn't seem like plagiarism to me anyways. the only similarities are that they both have someone fiddling with electronics and a cardboard bot painted silver.. however, i seriously doubt either of these ideas are exactly unique. no offense, i'm just sayin', lots of people i know made cardboard robot movies in high school (or after, hehe) with similar imagery.
