This is why I always say the vessel that’s pouring out the gift is the first to be blessed by the gift that G-d has given! You can see the choir being transformed by the anointing He poured into Donald, on the song lyrics and music the longer they rehearse it! Combined with them being blessed as their vocal gifts leave their throat’s and mouths, they get to the place where they can’t contain themselves in spirit! The gift G-d gives you has to bless you as it leaves you on its way out to bless anybody else!
And I just love Donald. Got to work with him when he was our guest conductor with the Millennial choir in Boston back in the early 2000’s. He’s such a humble, sweet, loving, connected vessel who becomes a part of you and pours into you not just musically, but spiritually as well. He ministered with the Aeolians at Oakwood University/Church this past weekend, and it was the most awesome worship experience!
Just some of the best. Donald Lawrence, composer, arranger, some of the very, very best that God hath in the USA.
