i love laura but i also feel bad for her. 2016 was her YEAR. she was on track to becoming the next big disney superstar. she was high off the tails of one of the most successful disney shows, she had the voice, a big record label pushing her (big record label = budget, promo, distribution), she had everyone backing her. then it all fell apart due to scott borchetta being a piece of shit. obviously idk what happened, but it had to involve him because he's the ceo of big machine records. due to this all falling apart, laura had to put a pause on music. she then came back and released me in 2018, but by then it was too late. people didn't care anymore. i really hope that she gets a better team and does more interesting and grown up projects this year and gets good critical reviews and builds a solid acting foundation onto which she can release her music and it can get some solid streams due to an increase in her fanbase. i know laura has the potential to become a huge star and i hope she does.
