Definitely has the old school sound to a T. Exactly what you'd expect Vivian Campbell to sound like. Frankly, I prefer this to many what many other old time artists do when they try to sound current and it comes out wonky. This sounds like they did precisely what they intended to do!

I really dig these guys great sound killer on the Dio material as well but really turned me off when the lead singer Andrew Freeman started talking shit about Dios Disciples why they cant just do their thing and just play music I dont know but both bands are great and Ripper Owens is one of musics greatest voices and sounds great on the Dio material.

Viv - Your tone is amazing here. You've resurrected that vibe, which is an amazing feat in and of itself.

As a musician & one of my top Fav's as a guitar player, it always puzzled me that Vivian Campbell stood in the shadow of Phil Collen all these years with Def Lepperd ...(2 decades). Understanably, a great career & I'm sure stable good paydays with Def Lepperd....  Vivian Campbell stands in the shadow of NO ONE in my book !!!

The band was DIO minus Ronnie with an outstanding chemistry that started in 1983 and ended when jimmy succumbed to cancer.
