I just love Amel Larrieux sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that knows about her, her song For Real is one of my repeat songs, So underrated is she!! These lyrics are breathtaking and so real! They literally took my breath away! My heart just hurts so bad listening to it. A perfect example of what music is suppose to do to you.

Brings tears to my eyes because this song is the epitome of falling in love. Everyone keeps raving over Emma Stone in La La Land but that movie looks so overrated. Gugu did her own singing and dancing in this and yet got no recognition. It's a shame this soundtrack was not nominated for Oscars.

I too just saw the DVD movie. Brutal sincerity in the lyrics. A song which describes a situation perhaps a lot of us are in or have been in. Raw emotions that tells how guarded we can because people have let us down, trust is difficult, hard to let anyone in. The song speaks volumes about boundaries and decisions we personally make and why.
