This song is so powerful! I don´t think Jonny has lost his mojo , he is just more mature in songwriting, expression of feelings, and whole sound.

This is an awesome song....I only found his music about a year or so ago....I've sung and played the piano most of my life and I have to agree this man has it all.........I love that he is transitioning to another genre......

Talent is talent. Genre can change but it doesn't change someones God given talent.

This isn't a good album I liked it better when he was a blues rock singer. Sorry Jonny lost a little bit of respect for you. You used to one of my favorite blues players but now it's all Christian Rock or whatever this is.

I like his older stuff too, but if this is what makes him happy, complete, whatever... he's one of the greatest talents of the last 50 years....period

I miss the “older” blues rock too! I keep trying to find something in his”newer” music to like but can’t seem to enjoy it!

Jonny ~ Touching on a 'Poignant Point' here!!!  Isn't it like him to hit us deep... with a song that touches the soul; helping to remind us to try ~ try ~ try!  Today it seems too easy to sell out for fame & the mighty old $$.  It doesn't have to be just the music & show biz industries, but Anyone who feels lost & alone, trying to fill the voids with "Pleasure"  - Physical or otherwise!  It breaks my heart to know how many misguided youth will go the wayside... But, if you just keep trying ~ trying ~ trying to stay away from the tempting world I know you'll be richer & more fulfilled (spiritually) for sure.

How can one person dislike this. I am 23 and I remember first seeing this guy on the Disney channel. Even as a kid I was so shocked to see a guy that didn't do boy band pop and play his own guitar barefoot. I have listened to him for a while and couldn't believe this album was coming out and I am so glad it did. It's always nice to listen to something different and that's what he is and I feel like guys like him should shine more in this world compared to the singers of today.

JL should play with Joe Bonnamassa, How much better could it get.

I could show you hundreds of songs with exact same chord progressions. This is very common in music. There are a very limited number of chords available and a very limited number of chord progressions. It is tempo, rhythm, 'feel', strum pattern, chord voicing, vocal integration, etc... that separate songs.

I've realized, after I wrote a song, that it contained a chord progression, or piece that was similar to some other song, then realized that I had heard that song a few days prior to writing mine. The words were different and the music had a different feel, but you could tell it was influenced by the other song.
