Fuck this is beautiful. It's so great to find someone else who sings with so much passion, which is what has always attracted me to Damien's music (and Lisa's too). It turns me on in the most melancholically sensual of ways. As in, I want to strip away my skin, rip open my ribcage, and show him the naked fragility of my soul. Few artists do this to me, and Damien was the very first to give me this haunting sort of feeling when I discovered his music many years back. I still get that feeling.

He does EXACTLY the same to me.....no other artist has touched me like he has.....

I haven't heard this band before (I will certainly want to hear more of their stuff now), but I like Damien Rice. This is great quality stuff, flowing over with atmosphere and emotion. It isn't the crap I will have to hear on the mainstream media. What can be better? I love it.

@Preposterown1 I don't know. To say the songs from O were "mostly better" is an opinion, your opinion. I like both albums, they were both different parts of his life thus the difference in music. Also I feel that us as his fans can't make him put out an album. He will always do it on his own terms.

Lamb might as well be the reason Damien got into singing and i don't mean to upset any Damien fans by saying it. It's just that lamb were, at their time, one of a kind in Irish music and they left a deep mark in pretty much any young Irish musician's heart. And I've met quite a few.

@Preposterown1 You are so damn right! It is also because of all these fans and market demands that the world of "arts" is full of crap. Damien Rice is, most of all, part of the true and great artists, not of the show business slaves. And I find it great that he is having fun and trying different stuff with other artists. It is part of artistic growth too. Well, Lamb were a great choice to work with. I love them as much as I love Damien's work.

One of my favourite bands of all time + one of my favourite solo musicians of all time together, both with completely different styles. This is a great surprise! Beautiful result!
