The beauty of this song is that the entire song could be the chorus - and to carry that same energy throughout an entire song is incredibly hard, yet Gaga nails it!!! So underrated!!

I really don’t understand what went wrong with Artpop. The label/s should have let her follow out her vision for it and not worried so much about its popularity or success (which was ironically what actually crippled the album). It’s an experimental album so the promotion and era should have been allowed to be experimental to.
Gaga had already proven herself lodes of times with her previous ott success and popularity, so they should just have let her free to be crazy on this era.
Having Aura as the lead single like Gaga intended I think would have dramatically changed the direction of this album (plus allowing her to promote the stranger songs as singles like Venus, Sex Dreams and maybe even Swine). Obs a lot of people wouldn’t have understood it or liked it but it would have solidified the albums intensions. And therefore it would have been far more successful overall as a project and wouldn’t have been so stunted. The best kind of art is art that takes risks. She really wouldn’t have lost much at all even if it didn’t chart commercially. This album shouldn’t have been about the money in short.
Sadly a lot of people don’t like weird or shocking forms of expression, but that’s fucking boring tbh and basic sheep mentality. Let people express themselves and try new things it isn’t a threat.

the beat is fucking evil and she sounds filthy i love it. big fan of infected mushrooms so this is a gem. this song in particular separates the type of music listeners. lovers of "pretty" or "safe" pop will hate or misunderstand it completely. I think it's really imaginative, interesting, exciting and fucking badass. It's an acid rave genre worked into a pop song.
