Lacuna Coil - In The End I Feel Alive Lyrics

Silence in the room
But I still hear your voice
I’ve been awake all night
My heart is aching for you

Blinded by the light
I cannot see the answers
Here with open arms
My heart is waiting for you

How much is this gonna hurt?
You promise you’ll never tell a lie
Don’t tell me it’s over
Even in the end I feel alive

I did trust your words
But I don’t trust your actions
Walk on broken glass
The chemical reaction
The chemical reaction

How much is this gonna hurt?
You promise you’ll never tell a lie
Don’t tell me it’s over
Even in the end I feel alive

Burn baby, burn baby
I will shut the door and hide the key
Burn baby, burn baby
Burn baby, burn baby
Give you a taste of your own medicine
Burn baby, burn baby
Time to break free

How much is this gonna hurt?
You promise you’ll never tell a lie
Don’t tell me it’s over
Even in the end I feel alive

I’m alive, I’m alive

I've revisited this band for the past week after a long time away (since Karmacode). Glad to see they haven't changed one bit! This song just does something for me that I can't explain, but it's awesome. Hope to see them next time they're in Milwaukee, WI!

+Steven Kiley Not really sure why you would take a break from Lacuna Coil, they evolve in every album and still remain great!

@SouljaSaia17 Well I listened to quite a wide range of metal and sometimes they're what I want to hear and sometimes they're not.

well shallow life was pretty bad.
saw them live during their Music as a weapon tour (in Erie somehow) and the power went out during "spellbound" that's really all that needs to be said. glad they ditched that style.

I love the experimentation and willingness to venture and I love how everyone has equal parts say in what they do, it's why they remain unchanged after all this time. however whoever proposed that album should get booped >_<
