ive claimed this woman is my wife for over 35yrs. my bucket list has sitting on the west bank of the east river in new york for 4th july and hopefully see Ms Patti perform in her show house there. i hear she still does couple shows week. my 6 yr old had to listen to her greatest hits every morning on the 25 min drive to his school. just me and him and a great stereo in our impala... he was lost without it. she was part of his routine while beginning school. empowered him to get through those doors. Ms Patti you have been such a intergrated part of my world, community, family, since i found you in 1981. your grace and dignity and self respect while becoming a beloved household staple in all cultures was something i always stood for . married n works through hard times, never messy and shady, head high always... my kids same way. fame looks good on you and so does the dignity and self respect you carry and demand.
