L.A. Guns - Letting Go Lyrics
Oh yeah!
Baby
Here we go
Got you loaded
Nighttime rodeo
Nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty man
Letting go
Set the world on fire
Letting go
She's been my one desire
Letting go
He's gonna take you down
Letting go
We're gonna get crazy

L.A. Guns Letting Go Comments
Mick Kripps, Enough said
I feel like these guys went out and said... Until we find the same stores the Motley guys hit and the same hair places Nikki and Tommy go to... we're not going home until we get the formula right. It's comical how everyone in rock had the 'Nikki Sixx Palm Tree Hair'. And Nikki had that damn hair in late 70's, so he was only copying Johnny Thunders. Thunders was doing a parody of Richards. And Richards... well, whatever...
Motley crue set the trend in the early 80's for the L.A rock scene and eventually the entire "hair band" bands
LA GUNS was one of my favorite bands of the 80's
all i gotta say is it's one of the best albums ever, and guns n roses owe tracii guns fuckin' everything they ripped his style off majorly and yeh i they owe a bit to aerosmith too, but tracii got slashed no pun intended, i love gunners but they should empty their bank accounts atleast a quarter if not more each and give it to him and also the rest of la guns
scott kent I agree with everything that you are saying! but do you know that Tracii and Phil are back together? I just saw them in Baltimore last Friday!! Awesome
That's great news
sushi sushi
oooohhhh here we goooooo cocked and loaded nightime rodeoooo
Letting Go sounds like Aerosmith.
Fantastic album. I loved the hell out this album back in the day. I thought it was really cool that they thanked Nicko McBrain in the album credits.
LOL If they reunite and Mick decline they should hire Stacey.
@Sixkiller1669 That's awesome!! Those must have been some kick ass shows and it's badass that you opened for them! \m/
I was fortunate enough to see this version live when they reunited around 2000 or 2001. They played a small bar in Phoenix and they were all high as kites. I then got a chance to see them again this time without Kelly Nickels (Muddy was playing bass) and they broke all of the microphones that night. I know because my band played the same club the next night : )
I saw them in Brunico, in Italy...a great concert!
which one did you saw?
I'll see L.A. Guns live in 10 days. God, I'm so excited!!!
OMG seen them live, original line-up, twice in bars back here in Buffalo back in the day. They were lit up and so was I. It's funny, I think phil was taking tips from my singing along to remember some of the lyrics. Man were they (we) wasted. lol, no, seriously, but man were they great! I'm hoping they come here sooo bad. Love to sit in and play some congas on "here it comes" or something. BIG dreams man.
There is no such thing as a shitty L.A. Guns tune. Unless, it's somebody other than Phil sining it. I like Stacey Blades enough, but it is a shame that Traci can't get along with anybody in the industry man.
Paul Gipp it wasn't Tracii or any beef with Phil. Tracii and Steve Riley had a HUGE falling out. Phil stayed with Steve Riley ,and Tracii parted to do his own thing. Tracii and Phil will be recording together and putting out a new L A Guns album in 2017.
c'mon man...phil and tracii PLEASE get back togheter! I WANT TO SEE THE ORIGINAL LINE UP AND I CAN DIE THE SECOND AFTER THAT SHOW...AND I WOULD KNOW THAT LIFE WAS WORTHED!!!
This is one of the best songs they EVER DID!!!
Baby here we go, yea!
@paulegipp Seriously!! I might see them in September, I can't wait. Yeah, definitely. Phil and Steve rule :) I know...I really wanted to see Tracii's version when Nickey Alexander and Paul Black were in it but now it's crap. Lol Jizzy Pearl was never too good of a singer. And the damn lineup keeps changing :( That's fucking awesome!! \m/ It must have been so badass seeing Kelly Nickels!! Yeah the Deep Purple song :D Thanks!
@speedking1970 you really gotta see them. Unfortunately, not the whole original line-up anymore. Still, catch the Phil Lewis Guns. Tracy unfortunately split and has a shit line-up. i seen them twice a long time ago - original band. Original members. It was a drunken frenzy…really cool at the second time up close at a local club. Ahh the days man. By the way is your name a reference to the Deep Purple song or the bass drum pedal? either way very cool.
I know!! I still haven't been able to see them live yet :/
I'm so sad I wish they would come here this year but I haven't heard anything! I haven't seen them in 6 years! I'm dying to see them again!
