The first time I heard this song I literally balled my eyes out. I never felt so much love and hope come from a song before. Especially being a recovering addict. I felt like I never deserved Gods love or his forgiveness but after hearing this song it completely changed my mind and my heart and soul as well. He really is there for all of us. His love and forgiveness just makes me feel so at peace. Sigh sorry to ramble haha it's just such a beautiful song and has a powerful message behind it.

Amen!! It's amazing how powerful and unconditional the Love that God has for us. It is the sick who need a doctor, not the healthy. He has saved my life literally 2 times from ODing. I was hanging out with some so-called friends trying Spice for the first and ONLY time when I dropped dead on the bed. These 2 girls were freaking out and was gonna take my body outside in the hall, just then a woman who was staying next door was on the way home and the Lord spoke to her and sent her to that room to give me CPR. She must have been an angel. After that time I still couldn't quit my addiction I was too deep and the devil had his claws in me, but Jesus still never gave up. He said Angela it isn't your time yet! What the enemy means for evil God will turn it around for good. All Glory to God!

Churches and synagogues were split into two halves; one half for men to sit in and the other for women to sit in. In those days, men were the only ones well-versed in the scriptures, and women, not having been taught the Word, would often be perplexed with the sermon. It was commonplace that when women would have such questions that they would attempt to ask the men for answers. Unfortunately, they were unable to go to the other side of the church/synagogue, so they would shout their questions to the men across the aisle. Obviously this would be quite disruptive, and that was the purpose of the words "women should not speak in in church".

That was the 1st century. That was the culture. We are now in a different culture. God doesn't favorite a sex. Yes, we have different roles but God can use a man or woman to be a pastor.

Take it easy and leave the judging to the one who is meant to do it. Reading the Bible is good advice that you should take yourself. Jesus taught that we are meant to love one another. Peace.

Master Riku - a person first has to be declared a live person before they can be declared dead. If it can't live outside of its mother's womb, it's not declared a "person" in its own right. But, if you think abortion is wrong, don't have one. I wouldn't want to have to have one, but I'm not going to tell someone else what to do with their body. THAT is wrong. It's also wrong to make a girl/woman have a baby after being raped and/or abused. Most likely, that child will end up being abused itself. If you believe in God, then you must believe that the soul that is meant to be born will be born.
I agree that if you have a baby it should be to start a family, obviously. The blame gets thrown on the mother, usually, but the baby is the one that usually suffers and that's horrible. If adoption is an option, that's awesome. However, many times it's not a viable option for whatever reason.

@XtraHits I'm going to go ahead and let women decide for themselves what is right for them rather than have religious zealots try to shame them into conforming to THEIR idea of God. No one on Earth knows exactly what God wants or thinks or if She/He has changed Her/His mind about different issues. The Bible was written so long ago and fit into THAT society - not ours. There are some things in the Bible that are timeless, but I think God is smart enough to know that people change over years - especially thousands of years - because if they don't, they die.

"Own image" can mean different things. One of my sons was made in my image, but he's not female he just looks a lot like me.
