Kurtis called out all them female dissing rappers (even LL Cool J who worshipped the ground Kurtis Blow walked on and Just Ice (Justice) who was a lyrical creative beast!). that didn't stop female rapper Roxanne Shante (my favorite emcee) from dissing Kurtis Blow. These were great times in our music and will never be repeated~ Ever!!!

man SO wrong. that's not what rap originally was. kurtis blow, sugarhill gang, grandmaster flash, and kool moe dee were guys that performed real ORIGINAL hip hop. run dmc is not miles off, but it's not even comparable. if you want to get into the debate of the so called "evolution" of rap music, public enemy is the absolute best and run dmc is not even comparable.
