Kublai Khan - Us & Them Lyrics
Sick of mother fuckers acting like I owe them shit
A bottomless consequence that will never end
We aren't close, never were, this the way it is
Truth be told. I don't even fucking like you bitch
You're not my kind. You're just there
You lie to others. You swear we're brothers
But I would never let you that close
Fuck you
I don't even know who the fuck are you
You're not my kind
I don't even know who the fuck are you
Anymore mother fucker, go
The more I know the less I like
You got nothing I want or need
I'll call it even if you stay silent
There is the notion no mans an island in the ocean
Then why the fuck do I demand seclusion
Pray to god to rid me of you fucking burdens
Tired of the eyes everywhere my head is turning
Personality error. Solitary terror
But I fucking hate you all
And it's all I can do to end this
For all the ones who thought they never could
Become the one you said you never would
It's been a long time coming
And it's safe to say it's time for you to fucking pay
Time to pay the fucking price
Another fist that leaves another bruise
Time goes on and the cuts don't heal
So stick the knife deeper into the wound
A weightless cross, can you even bare it
A mouth that doesn't shut makes words mean nothing
Open your ears so I can tell you something
Fuck you

Kublai Khan Us & Them Comments
Just lost a really good friendship because of our politics, so this song hits hard
My vote for song of the year 2019.
Love these fuckers !!!🖤🖤☠☠🤘🤘🤘
What an opening. Carnage from the start. "Truth be told, I don't even fucking like you BITCH!"
The person they are addressing disliked it
Seeing these guys do well warms my heart, saw them live in Germany like 5 years ago, show was awesome
KK bringing the heat, keep it coming this is badass
Being a hardcore punk rocker growing up listening to blood for blood, terror, earth crisis and hatebreed this right here is just amazing. Not too many bands these days that have that old east bay hardcore feel to it. \,,/
I am Now Zeus 🤘💪
Shout out to Zachary Hatfield for singing with Matthew Honeycutt
Killer jam 🤟
My dog just turned to Cerberus.
not a guest, the guitarist is the back up vocalist.
It’s a the guy from left behind. I saw them live last night but the bassist does a good job screaming that part
the guitarist doesn’t do vocals. it’s the bassist.
@theycallmebij they both do vocals
moko9hoko Maybe live but on record it’s only the bassist
@theycallmebij lately its mostly the bassist but the guitarist does them on this album and he did them on Balancing survival and happiness and New Strength
One of the best on this album
Is that left behinds singer?
Braxton Beck yeeee
Yes it's Zachary Hatfield
Psychosocial vibes at the guitar riff
Sending out an amber alert for my pants
This shit is a banger and is my favorite off the album. The feature sounds angry and raw as fuck, with that groovy riifs playing I can't help but smile and bang my head! Great album!
Ew what is this pop shit😤🤢
the two step right at the start this shit go hard shout out left behind
GearlessMason LEFT BEHIND YOU FUCKING BITCH
True Texas two step
Am I crazy, or does the guest vocalist sound like a meaner Corey Taylor? Also song goes hard and might be my favorite off the new album.
I came here to post the exact same thing. I was floored when I heard it. Have to check out Left Behind now
Man I legit thought it was Winston from Parkway haha
@Connor Dalrymple Please correct me if I'm wrong because I don't want to sound like a total jackass, but didn't Left Behind start as a Slipknot cover band? That's what I had heard at least.
@Jacob Stewart wouldn't be at all surprised seeing as they are named after a Slipknot song, cannot confirm though!
I thought it was Alex Erian from Despised Icon at first because they're bros, but it's Zach Hatfield no doubt.
who's featuring?
@GearlessMason 2 Texas titans on one song
@moko9hoko Left Behind is from West Virginia my dude
@Jacob Stewart oh shit really? Ai always thought they were from texas cause theyre really popular here and they play here alot
@moko9hoko Texas is a hotspot in general.
@Alphabet Soup very true
TIME TO PAY THE FUCKING PRICE
I adore the extra backing vocals on this record, fucking PURE
You know that rise is soft when people are checking out issues over kublai lol.
Aaron Corneau they’ve never been a heavy band. Screaming doesn’t mean heavy.
@Dylan Wilson I would definitely say they were heavy-ish during Black Diamonds and their self titled. After those albums the sound changed to more r&b/soul
Aaron Corneau no one listens to Issues for the heavy. You want heavy go listen to Car Bomb, Gatecreeper, Cult Leader etc.
@Dylan Wilson Some people actually did listen to them for some heavy tunes though.. I'm not saying it's bad by any means, just softer. Not my cup of tea, especially with Kublais new album out ✌️
@Aaron Corneau they may have gone soft but i thinks its a fucking good album
Beautiful.
