I saw Kris Kristofferson in Glasgow tonight 20th June 2019.

The background was a black curtain.

The lighting was just enough to illuminate the performers. No strobes and flashing beams.

No chat and awkward jokes between the songs.

Just the master telling his stories in his songs with a captivated audience.

This song is so beautiful it makes me cry.❤

Saw Kris earlier this year, old, croaky, laid-back, and utterly brilliant.

I'm going to see him in a month! I am so looking forward to it, I have loved this man my whole life. Thanks mom for introducing me this brilliant, true talented singer and writer!

My cousin and her husband recently took a trip to Hawaii, having no idea that Kris lived there. As they were walking around shopping, they happened to see Kris and his wife walking along, holding hands. Both my cousin and I used to have a major “crush” on Kris, and had unsuccessfully tried to meet him for an autograph after a concert he gave in 1974. My cousin could not resist going up to Kris to introduce herself and to tell him our story. He apologized and they talked for a little while. Then, to make up for my cousin’s prior experience, he actually invited my cousin and her hubby to have lunch with him and his wife. The four got along fabulously, and lunch turned into a 2 hour “gab fest” between the four of them. My cousin brought home several pictures of the meeting for everyone of us to enjoy. She said that both he and his wife could not have been more kind, welcoming or courteous. I have to admit that I was just a little jealous! I always knew that Kris was a great songwriter and singer, but he is also a wonderful man!
