the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas.

Allison is fantastic. Jerry is great.The union station is awesome.

When I first heard this song it immediately made me think of a long lost love and how desolate I felt when he disappeared from my life. Thirty years later he came back. I now listen to it with him, not with sadness but with forgiveness.

P.S. I sort of got to meet her when she did the Kingsport, TN Santa Train in 2006. I called out to her just as she was getting on her bus to leave. I said, "We love you, Alison. You are my hero!" She smiled and said, "Thank you." I wanted to ask her if a picture of us together could be taken at least, but by then, it was just the two of us, so there wasn't anyone around who could take the picture and she was already on the steps of her bus and so I let her go. I pray that I someday soon get another chance for at least that much more to happen.

I used my paramedic badge to access a closed section of Salem civic center so when she came off the stage with the cold mountain tour She was only 2 or 3' from me as she was headed backstage to see her son which he had brought with on the tour. I yelled Hey Allison to sound and great tonight and she came over to the edge of the seats and I enter deuce myself and she held out her hand now we shook hands and I told her I was a paramedic in that area and asked her where her next stop was on the tour and she said well I should know but I'm not real sure it's been such a long tour and then on another couple came down who saw I was talking to her and it was the guy's birthday so when she came back out I told her to come over and meet this guy it was his birthday and she came back over and congratulated him on his birthday. She's very down-to-earth and it's like you just talking to a normal person and she's gorgeous. I did not wash my hand that she shook for a week.

Allison Krauss has the voice of an angel. That's just about the sweetest sounding, powerful, emotional and dynamic voice I have ever heard...along with my daughter, Cassidy Cronan, who most definitely has the voice of an angel-as well! Thank you, Allison, for such a great rendition!

We were at Alison's concert in Little Rock and she sung this and it was awesome ❤

She also performed the joke so dry it was great. She performed a broad range of music some old some new and then some that was between new an old. The concert was over and no one left. They came back and did three more songs.

Absolutely beautiful! Kiddies, listen up!....no electronic enhancements, no outrageous makeup or costumes...just TALENT, something dead and gone with the current crop of “performers”. My life was blessed with the music of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s....thank God!

Never realized how much I could love Blue grass music until I listened to this great artist sing. Imo I think a lot of her songs could be considered country but whatever Blue grass or country I believe this angel could sing just about anything and sound great.

Yeah, maybe her voice is great, but her stand-up comedy sucks. She needs a comedy writer. Can't say a thing good about anybody else.

Yes it is a very sad song, after my husband of 52 years died it is exactly the  way I felt. (still do) but I keep going anyway because I promised him I would be okay.
