Korn - Lost Lyrics
Why can't I decide, why my feelings I hide?
Always screwing with my mind, that thorn in my spine
Oh sure, it feels fine, wasting all our time
In the back of my mind, a thorn in my spine
Why! do I run away?
Looking all the time at your face so blind
Feeling uptight, always the same fight
Hey man now decide, go ahead take your time
Kissing all the time, that thorn in my spine
Wait! You can only see one side
Why?! Play yourself out 'dat way?
Why?! You and me always hang
The pain in which I could not feel!!!
Hey man look inside, now you need your own life
Remember me guy? That thorn in your spine
Waiting all the time, I'm doing mighty fine
Remember me guy? That thorn in your spine
[chorus]

I think it isn't "the pain in which I could not feel" but "the pain and rage and fear I feel" as Jon sings in "Layla", an unreleased song.
Or a mix of both sentences
@Nathália Pakrauskas I kinda agree with you. I just copied and pasted what was on Google cux nobody had lyrics set in the comments section for the song...
A band that was formed by Jon’s old band, sex art, called Juice, made a song named seven. It has tons of riffs on it that are in this. Kinda whack listening to it.
That intro tho
I've been listening to this music since 1997
Love this creepy shit. And JD'S voice on this is fuckin amazing
So cool to listen to Korn from a time before the over-saturation of rap-metal bands and mediocre me-too bands that came out in the early 2000s. In 1996 this was relatable to funk metal bands of the time, and rap metal but was neither of the two. It was such a pure sound and raw and honest and original. I mean at the time the relatable bands mighta been Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine, and Pantera. But they were nothing like any of them.
This song is pretty chill
We don't have many chances to talk about harmony with KoRn, but man good harmony on these one, stands above most KoRn songs.
Love this song to death. I can’t get enough out of Korn!!!! It’s like my very first band that I heard. Then I went to listening to slipknot. So, yeah they are my favorite band ever; as well.
Great song
a trillion times I have listened to this song, never before did I notice the creepy subtle vocals behind the opening guitar riff
has it been 20 years ?

life is peachy
My favorite Korn song.
life is peachy is my best album
good korn song
best nu metal band
Best metal band
best band
This song is overwhelmingly underrated.
I agree.
Still listening to this. Still has soo much meaning, to this day..
I think, in a way, Korn was the heaviest band of all time, besides maybe Acid Bath. Twisted riff.
Finally, someone paying respect to acid bath!
the song is based on someone who he thought he had a friendship with but it turned out the person thought he was annoying so it left him confused about their friendship since the person didn't want to be his friend anymore.
that happens to me
*alot*
Best song on the album, then leads into the next best song SWALLOW \m/
This is the style of korn I come to love fuck that dubstep crap on the path of totality
a thorn in my spine
Porra essa do Korn é de fud.... como sempre...
WAIT!!!!
Korn would be so much better if they weren't so formulaic with their choruses.
That first riff..simple yet so heavy..
Well, you probably won’t believe this but I dug it out the other day & it’s my car as we speak!!! Admittedly it’s on something called a “cd” but yeah- straight up!!! 😂😂
@mjbdvp yeah, I wish I had more things on CD, but I just wish I had more on my vinyl🤘. Self titled and LiP is definitely gonna be on vinyl when I get them
Fave Korn album...?
@mjbdvp self titled, but good god is above all of that for me.
Welcome to korn lol
When the main riff kicks in..who's singing the "hey" part in the background..?
the original speed crew!
Yes...At this point in their career they were all tweakin'.
WAIT!! to see it before my eyes.... WHY!!!!!! do i run away????
This song man! F'in KoRn is the shit. This takes me back, being all little hating everything, hating life. Those feelings are not gone, being older I guess I just learned to deal with them.
Jonathan Davis. <3
old school this is the good shit
Nothing is better than that
I love these dude because of their freaky hard rock music, or I think this is metal or grunge I not tell but I like it
@Kinon Howard hmm sounds better when you put it that way
Honestly.. the most honest genre of music that Korn fits into is "Korn" it's become its own thing. The first album was arguably metal, but they've released albums like Path Of Totality that have dubstep, so.. hard to label Korn really
Alex Moore yes issues had kind of a rap feel to it too
Avant Garde possibly?
Mr Nasty420 exactly they were influenced by golden age hip hop like NWA, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, and House of Pain as well as rock and metal. A good mix if you ask me as metal bands at the time didn’t combine that stuff. I mean Anthrax did but for like a single. Aerosmith and RUN DMC did a song as well. Plus they made rap rock albums but not rap influenced metal
for so long I felt embarrassed by ever liking their first 2 records but now I just realise they were actually quite good noise/metal/groove stuff and anything after is actual bollox.
If you were a sandwich, you would be eaten by now ;).
I reckon they each adjust their volumes at the right time so it sounds like it pans across.
Welch innovated and pushed for those atmospheric effects box nuances. It also sounds like he wrote this riff. If you listen to LAPD before Brian joined and they became Korn, it sounds a lot more like Korns new material. That's because Munky is actually more of a funk metal guitarist, in the same vein as the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Brian is the one who writes dark riffs with atmospheric nuances.
Wow 5 years ago ROFL. You probably dont even remember this comment. Yeah you can tell even more now that hes back in koRn. Welch definietely pushed the dark tones, he was also the one who did some of the best chorus's the band ever created. He pushed dark melody into this band so much. Welch was really the one who went and adjusted and added to parts to bring them together. In K3 their "back to roots" album he wasnt their therefore the music felt unfinished which is probably why JD just didnt even try.
Brian Welch is a riff machine.
Munky and Korn combined is legendary. Literally some of the best guitar work ever.
This takes me back! Very very good
Probably the most perfectly done album, too.
Wish this were like a minute longer. Still amazing though.
@HxCJohnny02 Haha That litteraly made no sense what so ever! I don't understand where this preacher came in. And I never said I was preaching about koRn. I was simply explaining. I have no idea what you deal is, but your nothing but another troll, and a prick. Why are you even here on koRn if you don't like them? Geez go get a new hobbie that involves getting out.
@HxCJohnny02 When did a preacher get involved in all this? Haha okay. That litteraly made no sense what-so ever. Can you use a little more grammer, and complete sentences?
@HxCJohnny02 ... You weren't hugged enough as a child huh?? Or probly you parents never said they loved you.... Or maybe your just one of those non-feeling sterotypical people that think having a heart or feelings is being a "puss"
Lol go away little preteen troll. If you don't like korn why are you here? You get off tryna get in Internet fights..good luck ever getting laid little queef.
Korn has good stuff from their new and old albums so what they've changed. alot of their new shit is still awesome
All Of ya need to shut the fuck up and stop bitching! koRn Has changed! Jonathan still has his meaningfull lyrics and his passionate amzing voice. They are still rocking out. Why don't ya stop being little selfish pricks. Not everything they do is not for ya! THEY! wanna try somthing new! Just fuck off just cause their beats and insturmental music isnt the same all that much dosnt mean they suck!
@SuperDerekShort LEAVE.
fOundin' pOund.
Korn have some great songs, none of which are on the new album besides Get Up and Cannibal, but this is their best song ever. Well this and Swallow and Good God and No Place To Hide. Oh look at that! Their best songs are on albums 1 and especially 2! "Lets make Korn III - Remember Who You Are!". Too bad that album sucked hardcore.
if this song would be a sandwitch , it would be a fucking great sandwitch
You posted this comment so that 7 years later, I would read it and laugh my ass off. Thanks, from 7 years in the future.
I love the start to this song...
I like new and old KoRn, but really preffer their oldschool shit. It's cold, dark, hateful... and also full of a pale deturpated beauty that blows my fucking mind everytime I listen to it.
ross robison is the shit
such a voice...I love it!
Okay listen! Try to hear this song when you go up on stairway!! That's so spooky=D
It was said in Time magazine(sic) that this album should be of interest to mental health proffessionals across the country, to that i say thanks, and fuck you.
This is real music. Music like this cannot be reproduced. Sadly, music like this is no longer recorded today. Everything's mainstream. Regurgitated shit.
Allaince are emo cock suckers
actually during the part at 1:38 is two tracks of him singing "pain and rage and fear i feel"
I like this songs dark sound. KORN
4EVER!!!!
1:30 to 1:58....u were right....ofc. koRn yea Korn
The dark and scary shit is the best, and I hear that they might start doing that again.
And I've seen your videos, great collection.
Awesome..
KORN ROCKS
