Like em or hate em, Eric and dylan paved way for a ton of people to become kmfdm fans. All the revenue and merch bought buy fans who came in after 4-20-99 due to exposure of this band is in thanks to those two teens.
Theres the 1st generation of kmfdm fans (before columbine) and the 2nd generation (after) and the 2nd massively outnumber the 1st.
I dont care how they got their fans it just means they receive support to this day and if that keeps kmfdm afloat I'm cool with that.

You know, I gotta say, if it weren't for what Eric Harris did I wouldn't have ever heard of KMFDM. They're like fucking Diet Rammstein most of the time. And, much to my disappointment, they actually seem to have allowed their work to be influenced by the negative publicity brought on them by Columbine. Rammstein shrugged it off and kept going.
