I love this song. That guitar solo is so melodic and beautiful. Creatures is an album without a weak moment... killer from start to finish.

Gene cut great vocal tracks from Dynasty to Lick It Up. Just a great tone, like how Bowie sounded real sharp in his vocals tracks. Maybe they used same type of mics and outboard stuff.

Didn't like strange reverb and empty sound at first. I'd always prefered Dressed To Kill for production -- short, tight songs.

But, it's good. Not Destroyer, but ok.

Rock And Roll Over & Love Gun were more to my liking. And all the solo LPs...

Mmm... I love the original 4, but I would say that Eric Carr was a better drummer than Peter Criss. He straight up banged those drums. Now as for guitarists... different story. Ace Frehley will always be THE guitarist for KISS in my book. Plenty of rumor and speculation that he played lead guitar on some of the tracks on Creatures as well. We'll probably never fully know.

This has to be the best album, Love Gun is a close second.

Revenge is a great album and one of best studio albums. Having Vinnie and Bruce on guitars and writing was excellent.

COTN is their best album since Kiss 1974 album. Love Gun? Nah. 1974 is far better.

I love Creatures, and think it is their most underrated album. My favorite however is probably Destroyer. Ace's 1978 solo album is up there as well.

I absolutely agree with you. Vinnie is a stunning guitarist, but he NEEDS people like Paul and Gene to keep him in line. I loved Vinnie's work with Kiss. His solo work? Not so much.
