As a kid in the 70s these guys seemed like superheroes to me. I remember going to the convenient store and spending what ever money I got on the packs of kiss cards with the gum in them. Lol

Incidentally, Mr. Soul was the only one of the Springfield's songs that was recorded in New York. And they have said themselves that it was the only song that they recorded that captured what the band sounded like live.
