Kiss - Parasite Lyrics
She'll always be there trying to grab a hold
She thought she knew me, but she didn't know
That I was sad and wanted her to go
Parasite lady
Parasite lady
No need to cry
I didn't wanna have to get away
I told her things I didn't want to say
I need her and I hope she'll understand
Parasite lady
Parasite eyes
Parasite lady

Kiss Parasite Comments
KISS when they were young focused hungry and ready to kick your ass in 7" heels!
I’m not gonna lie: this is good but I LOVE Anthrax’s version of this song
Fucking ace man
1:57
Andy Scott is that you?????
The worst produce album ever . It sounded so flat and lifeless . Casablanca was minor league .
Never been a fan of Kiss but this song kicks ass. A lot of Kiss songs from the 70s are balls out metal.
just what the hell is Peter doing to Paul on this album cover?
Ace and Peter are totally in sync during the solo break. They are feeding on each other. This is way better than most modern metal; they are interacting more like jazz musicians.
I love it!!!!
When I think of the essence of Kiss this the track that puts oil in my engine ...
Peter Criss at his best!
such an underrated song
PanterA medicine man
Ace's best solo in my humble opinion. His idiosyncratic up and down bends, choppy downstrokes, cavalier syncopated notes and muted textures blend perfectly with the drum riffs. This song cements Ace's and Peter's reputations as founding members of KISS.
when you realize that ace recorded both guitar and bass on this awesome. too bad he wasnt confident enough to sing in his career quite yet.
Anthrax brought me here
1974 Still Rockin' 2019..
This song is great, one of my faves. Anthrax did the cover of this beast in the 90s, payn tribute to the boys.
My favorite song to play on my Les Paul!!! That riff is killer!!!
2019 and this still rocks.
In 1978,I was 7 years old and a member of the KISS ARMY 🇱🇷🤘 🇱🇷
after 45 years, this fucker STILL ROCKS!!!
Still corny as shit. What a horrible band!
When they started out, before the egos and money grubbing took over, they were so over the top campy it was actually entertaining.
He'll yeah!!!
I freaking love it🤘🏻😜🤘🏻
Ace ruled, shameful how they have those guys wearing Peter and Aces outfits.Seen them them when they started,NO ACE OR PETER..NO KISS
A kid i grew up with was in the band Frehley"s Comet. His name is Tod Howarth. The comet returns tour starts soon albiet without Ace.
you know, i think this song should have been included in Venom. Cause in the movie, Venom gets called a parasite 3 times. Oh well, there's always Venom 2.
Stands the test of time and the topic is perpetually relevant
WRITTEN BY ACE !!!
Con esto se entiende de donde salieron los Panthera, no?
Ace, Aaaaace, Gene Geeeeene!!! Monsters of music!!!
One of my favorite parts of this studio version gets lost whenever I hear it live...it happens right after the end of the solo when Ace is playing the "Parasite riff" without drums or bass...and then at 2:49 Paul comes back in with an accented "BANNNNNNNGGGG" and then everyone rejoins. I love that part...
60 people disliked this? They should be quarantined on some deserted island together.
Na capa do dvd o Peter tá comendo o Paul, Gene assustando umas crianças e Ace Frehley brizando kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Heavy metal
I used to play my older brothers' Kiss records ( two are fantastic musicians now) .. on my plastic record player while playing with my Barbie dolls along with my cousins growing up in the 70s ☺ while mamma made her homemade pasta and tomato sauce etc ... Growing up italian with rocker brothers ... Was amazing
Those were the days xox
1st time I’ve heard this . Massive black sabbath fan for 38 years . It’s superb ! Why the fuck didn’t they stick with this heavy blues / funk rock fusion instead of going gay pop rock ???
Didnt really understand this when I was little (lyrics)but now I see these tramps will bleed you dry
A lot of people say that GNR ripped off this guitar riff in Paradise City.
Second Half Ace stole from The Sweet's "Sweet F.A." , Released 6 months before Hotter Than Hell was recorded. You can hear it at 4min32sec here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hle-gRxI3nQ
interesting...kiss didn't write this tune!!
Classic Ace "Against The Meter" it's in 7/8 time too.
I can hear Hangar 18 from Megadeth in that riff
The best kiss songs were written by Gene Simmons
Ace wrote this song, not Gene!
Kiss -isn't METAL- my ass
He'll ya!!!!
Anthrax covered this song on the KISS tribute album: Kiss My Ass! \m/
1974. Ace Frehley invents groove metal.
Listen to some budgie 1970 onwards
It makes sense that Kurt Cobain was a Kiss fan when you listen to this. That riff would’ve fit right in on Nirvana’s debut.
Classic rock at its finest
Ace, Peter and those two other guys.
AFTERBURNER Eric Carr > Peter Criss
Magistral....!!!!
44 years later and the Chikara is still strong
Dry drums, Phat guitar.
Raw KISS
One of the heaviest songs for its time
The most underrated guitarist of all time, Kiss can never replace ace no matter how much they try, Ace, you are a legend, you were Kiss .
I love the key this song is in! I love the chord progression. It goes from F# to A, like that's awesome! It's in the Key of E, but like E is barely played! It's one of those awesome songs that sounds like it's in one key, but is actually in another. Like Last dance of Mary Jane by Tom Petty, most people think it's in Am, when it's really in G
Say what??? Kiss tunes one half step down so instead of e-a-d-g-b-e they tuned to Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb or D#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D#. Parasite is played in the key of Gmin, although, since they tune down a half step it is actually in the key of F#min or Gbmin whichever you prefer to use sharps or flats. As far as Last Dance with Mary Jane, it is definitely wrote in the key of Amin, not Gmaj, even though the first chord is a form of G.
Thats Golden!
I hear so much metallica in this song
The first "metal" song I ever heard.
badass epic
Ppl I knew as a teen either liked or hated them. Yay for the true friends lol
To me, this is the best Kiss album. Also, Stanley looks like he could be Satchel from Steel Panther on this cover.
classic ACE motherfuckin riff. A question: the lyrics are about an hooker???
This was the 1st Kiss lp i bought...wanted to buy both the 1st and 2nd but the 1st was sold out at my local record store...great rock N roll record and my fave lp cover of theirs. Destroyer is my 2nd fave lp cover of theirs. Rock and roll over has a fun cover as well...had a cool ass sticker w/it. Fuck, those days are long gone. Rockin' rollin' got my Kiss records OUT!!! <\M/>
Still compatible and can compete with anything even now
kinda sounds like trying to start a car that wont turn over
That my friends is a hooky intro followed by headbanging greatness.
i joined the KiSS ARMY, in 1976 , so don't try to get me on kiss trivia, it is not posssible
Hard rockin Kiss was always ace influenced !
Too bad this album was recorded like crap. I think that's why it gets overlooked as one of their best
Ya' gotta love those awesome riffs by Ace Frehley!
😐😑
I'm a stagehand and we did Ace F. Band and Peter Criss Band together. Ace was pretty fucked up and started the riff and stopped. Says "ain't no one can play it like me since I fuckin wrote it"!! He then flicked his cigarette out into the audience and pegged a dude in the forehead! lol. Yeah I thought it was funny but it would have been me he hit I probably ran up on the stage and beat his ass! LOL
Damn! This is tasty AF 🔥
Ace's solo is a master class in syncopated phrasing. He runs repeating motifs in different meters against the beat. Also, in the first few bars there's an effect on the lead guitar adding a voice an octave lower to boot. Those detractors who find Peter Criss's drumming wanting should analyse what he does in this tune. The interplay between Ace and Peter is far superior to anything Metallica ever did. Just count and tap your foot throughout this song and you'll see, hear and feel what I'm talking about.
I can hear pantara in this song cow boys from hell
What an absolute BANGER!!!!
im in a band i hope she'll understand
GREAT !
EAT SHIT! Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Vivian Vincent, timmy thayer, boob kulick, boob ezrin, and gg gibert.
Speed metal from Kiss yessss!
My favorite kiss song- this era of the band, warts and all, had a combination that will never be duplicated- when you get band members seeking perfection, rather than accepting that their sound is a whole larger than the sum of its parts, the vibe is lost.
Fuckin' Bad Ass! Classic KISS!
one of their greater hits...main reason Ace for sure
Devil punk!
Ace have a drink, you made KISS..
While ACE was becoming one of the best guitarist ever and very wealthy Boob Kulick was selling his ass to live in his trailer.
ono of first trash metal song
paul stanley-guitar
gene simmons-vocal
ace frehley-bass-lead guitar
peter criss-drum
Juan K Borges you mean thrash
Ace at his absolute best.
In my opinion, this is the most underrated kiss' song
Heavy shit for an impressionable teenager in the mid 70's......
so fucking heavy
