I remember the first time I ever heard this. Found it strange to hear Kiss in a wash of keyboards. Clearly an attempt to fit into the mid 80’s Bon Jovi / Whitesnake pop metal trend.

You can refer it as an answer to the KISS Version of "Anyway You Want it" [original: Dave Clark Five]. It has some Van Halen (Jump) influence too. But it could have been on "Creatures" Or "Shade" (Hot) It has no drive in it.

Don't think so....Jump was 3 years earlier so they would have done that on an earlier album so no point there. And the answer to Dave Clark Five's Anyway you want it..? They gave that in 1977 already by doing a cover of the song on the Alive2 album

Lyrics are very "Rocky IV" (never give up ) which is a good thing to me :) I love this album as much i love Creatures of The Night, Lick It Up,Animalize, Asylum and Hot In The Shade . As a 80's lover, the keyboards doesn't bother me at all.

Yeah right theres nothing wrong with this tune.. Kiss sounds awesome on this whole album. My way is a killer tune and the keyboards cool and Kulick tears up this solo.. Personally this is my favorite Kulick album.. And Carr was a beast

One of the guilty pleasures on this keyboard-flooded album. Along with Turn On The Night, the riffs and Paul's voice still shine under the gloss of those godawful 80's string patches

I think that song is really good.

I've always loved his vocals on this album. In the book "Kiss Behind The Mask" he says he was too concerned with how high he could sing rather than the "heaviness" of the album. I've always felt this album fit perfectly with the mid/late 80's scene
