I remember listening to a song that's almost equal and younger than this one... Wish I could remember.

degree7 It has Waterloo sunset, death of a clown, harry rag, tin soldier man, and autumn almanac. Some of my absolute favorites by the kinks.

It's hard though. I love rosie won't you, sunny afternoon, little miss queen of darkness, big black smoke, most exclusive residence, and house in the country alot too.

Lola vs Powerman was the first non-hits album by the Kinks I got and I've still got a thing for it.

I recently heard The Great Lost Kinks Album and is amazing, in my opinion its at the top with Village Green and Arthur

What a pity that a lot of younger people, if they've even heard of The Kinks, only know "You Really Got Me" and "Lola".

Heard this on Lisa Tarbuck's weekly Saturday show after work. I'm young and love it. Sounds different away from the radio.

Why not just be happy that they at least acknowledge music of the past instead of letting it die. A newer generation only hearing a few songs from older bands is far better then them being turned off the genre all together because of people like you gatekeeping them.

Michael Macek I am 14 and I go to school in Pennsylvania at least 1/5 of the kids in my school district are classic and hard rockers we love the kinks and most of us have been rocking sense we were born

Im 13 and have been a huge kinks fan. It is rather rare to find others near my age who listen to the kinks and their more underrated gems. I agree though, it's rather disheartening when friends i know claim they like the kinks when they only listen to those two tracks haha.
