My dad and I got into a minor car accident while I was listening to this song about ten years ago. It will always remind me of that. Not a bad memory because we we're all just fine.

Bought this album driving from NYC to Dallas....loved it. Can't say I ever fancied Diana Dors much though

I've been listening to this song every morning of my exams for the past 3 years. I'm coming up on my final 2 exams this year and want to thank you for uploading this.

"Who was that girl that used to be my flame? I'd call her if I could remember her name." That line reminds me that things that were SOOOO important to once are now fading memories. The songs mean whatever you want them to mean. Especially The Kinks music. Take whatever helps you get through the tough times and use it. Ray got me through the 90's and early 2000's with his music and social commentary. Sheer genius but I don't have to be super bright to get something out of it on some level. Dig?

jahnsahn76 That's the beautiful thing about Ray's lyrics (and Dave's). You know they're speaking to everyone...but it feels like they're all yours. In some cases Ray's words written to himself become your travel companion, and his voice almost becomes yours.
