I love music I was in the biz for awhile audio engineering so I surf alot I've found some great artist that you just get a feeling about they make you feel good they look like they love what they're doing not this band its like watching antifa try to be nice I get the feeling these guys are total anarchists an thats not my vibe but which is fine I dont like everything an I'm sure there are people who love them they just seem uninterested lol now I could be wrong an would ve the first to say sorry an I'd feel bad I really would but that's the impression I get by them an theres music Sadly I see no real talent here

King Gizzard has experimented with more musical genres in their life span then most other bands ever do, whether its an entire album that's poly-rhythmic or an album that loops forever, these guys have proven to be incredibly original and crafty
their music isn't for everyone, but they ARE talented

Probably custom made. You need to cut a bit of the neck and insert the fret (the way you do the original frets)

@Rund Frukt There's an entire album of songs in microtonal tuning. Melting, Anoxia and others use it to full potential. The two drummers do things that one drummer can't on other albums. There's to more the band than just one song.

@Unknown Soldier You certainly got me there. I still think this band seems a tad pretentious and over-hyped, but your points are valid and I was shooting from the hip.

@Rund Frukt Strange, I never got the sense that they were pretentious. Stu has said in interviews that he (writes ~70% of all music and all lyrics) tries to be as ambitious as possible because otherwise, what's the point? The difference in material between and after Nonagon Infinity is tremendous - I highly, highly recommend listening to that entire album in one sitting.

I remember years ago these fellas did a free gig at my local pub.
Only a few of us hung around til 10pm on that Thursday night to watch them, but we were all blown away.
It was the closest thing I’ll ever experience to time travel.
Although I didn’t experience the 60’s or 70’s, I was certain I was living in that era during the hour and a half show they put on that night.

This is like the shit that neighbor at the end of the block used to listen to when I was a kid. He had a crazy look in his eye. He owned a drum set and sometimes had jam sessions that would end with yelling and broken beer bottles. Sometimes he threw things out the second story window at random and yelled at no one on particular.
