King, Freddie - Reconsider Baby Lyrics
So long, oh I hate to see you go
So long, oh I hate to see you go
And the way that I will miss you, I guess you will never know
We've been together so long to have to separate this way
I'm gonna let you go ahead on now baby, pray that you'll come back home someday
You said you once had loved me, but now I guess you've changed your mind
You said you once had loved me, but now I guess you've changed your mind
Why don't you reconsider baby? Give yourself just a little more time

Oh,how I love Freddie's blues!
Damn great Texas guitarist. Think he might have influenced a young Stevie Ray?
Damn straight he did! Stevie use to go see Freddie play at the famous Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin. This was when Stevie was in the Cobras pre Double Trouble. RIP Stevie and the WAH which burned down.
Sure but I think Stevie Ray Vaughan's two main influences were Albert King and Larry Davis, who did "Texas Flood" (but the guitarist soloing on here is Fenton Robinson).
