King, Carole - Raspberry Jam Lyrics
Pieces of toast
Raspberry jam
Laid out on the breakfast table
It's time to begin again
Where the rivers flow
Lives a girl named Sally
Who loves to watch things grow
Pieces of toast
Raspberry jam
Laid out on the breakfast table
It's time to begin again
Now Sally has five children
And they all sit down together
For their toast and their raspberry jam
Oh, how they have
Pieces of toast, raspberry jam
Laid out on the breakfast table
It's time to begin again

I wore this album out in the 70's! Literally had to buy a new one.
Had this album in the early 1970s...it got lost somewhere along the way, but I clearly remember this song being my favorite. Kind of a precursor to Jazz Man.
Journalists and reviewers uncharitably referred to these as "jazz waltzes." Whatever. They sure worked/work for me!
Phantasy Tour
great, great, GREAT song and music !
According to the song, Sally loves to watch things grow and now she has five children. What kind of "things" does she love to watch grow??? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
wow i did a search for just the title of this song and it came up! i heard this for the first time from an old weird friend he had a foot fetish and played this for me in 1998 :)
Coltrane's dancing in heaven to this one!

It's time to begin again!
Gorgeous .. the wonderful guitar part is Danny Kortchmar - Kooch ... put me right off Eric , Jimmy , Jeff & co for some time and set me on a whole new path .. next stop The Rascals Island of Real - & Buzz Feiten .. listen to Lament from that album .. Buzz played on Stevie Wonder's Superwoman .. the was my favourite Carole album too ...
Great stuff......
@arielolin I posted this album a year ago but they were blocked. I guess they have been unblocked?
I love how this tune stands apart from all the songs on the album. It's so different from anything else she's done. Thanks for posting, I never thought I'd find it on yt.

Music is in the same vein, a vehicle for jamming, and both in 3.
