The funny thing is that the "Kim Carnes" version of this song is the ONLY version I grew up with as a kid. I DID also like the "Smokey Robinson" version too. I ALWAYS liked the way that Kim Carnes sang. She has a VERY unique kind of voice. I used to like A LOT of her music. It REALLY touched my heart when I was growing up. Even my mother liked her songs too. Such GREAT memories to cherish FOREVER!!
