Kim, Andy - Rock Me Gently Lyrics
Ain't it good, ain't it right
That you are with me here tonight
Music playing, our bodies swaying in time
(In time, in time, in time)
Lord, I feel such a sweet surrender
Beautiful is the dream that makes you mine
Mm, rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
Baby, baby, rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
Oh my darling, oh my baby
You got the moves that drive me crazy
And on your face I see a trace of love
(Of love, of love, of love)
Come hold me close, don't let me go
I need you, honey, I love you so
You were made for me by the stars above
Mm, rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
And baby, baby, rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
Rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
Ain't it good, ain't it right
That you are with me here tonight
Rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before
Baby, baby, rock me gently, rock me slowly
Take it easy, don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before

Kim, Andy Rock Me Gently Comments
Max Bennett so amazing as a bass player
Ultimate one-hit wonder - superb! Reached Number 2 in UK in Oct 74.
I cant believe that my parents were right. That a song will bring back feelings of a younger years. This song was so good for me. My friend would play this song and sing it almost every day. Not bad for a 7 year old to do
Congrats on your Montreal Star !
Listen to the background singer at 2:59 -- an amazing God-given voice
Jimmy Saville....please no....
Very poor post-dubbing from a nice original master in studio.
This song is ageless
All families during birthdays played this song. I miss Biafra part of Nigeria
Thank you Ray Donovan for taking me back to a painful, yet youthful time when things were easier and seemed less complicated. Long live the one hit wonders!
I thought I was the only one came here after Ray Donovan. Only different is I was unfortunately born in the 90s and didn't really get to experience this! But thanks to the show I found this gem of a song!
Dig the nonce at the beginning 😂😂😂😂
Awesome bass line 😎
Ray Donovan sent me.
Close my eyes and listening to this classic gem sure takes me back to the summer of 1974.
God this takes me back to the skating rink days!!
Shit I wish everything wouldn't have to change
Oh the hair!! I always thought that this song should have been sung by a woman...but I guess nowadays that is a sexist comment. Oh for the '80's again!
Ah the 70s great times sadly missed
My Daddy got this!
Didn't appreciate certain tunes until I got older myself...
Aaaaahhhh.......... The memories........ Those were definitely the good days 😃 Thank you for sharing this classic 🤗
Did Neil Diamond try to hide from his ex wife under a pseudonym?
Agreed sounds like Neil Diamond
Great song from the summer of 1974 I was 10 years old in going into my last year of Grade School 6th grade was a great summer growing up in the suburbs of New York on my bicycle riding the streams playing sports we had a great neighborhood to what good memories this song brings back
Fun Fact:Andy Kim was deaf and blind
Love the song. Had the 45 back in the day. I still think he has a Neil Diamond look and musical feel on this song.....
Still a true classic ⭐️
This Song reminds me of my first and only Love. Had 3 Husbands good Men but Ivano I will Love forever. Wonder what ever happen to him....
Kind of sounds like Rob Thomas
This was my favorite song when I was 9-10 back in the 70's. Reminds me of a time when my mom, me, & brothers were driving to Lamont & this song came on. Radio blared & we were all singing the song at the top of our lungs.

0:06 Jimmy Saville hitting on an underage girl...
Whats Neil Humperdink doing on youtube?
See Saville had a victim picked
A really cool classic.
Rock me gently, Rock me slowly !!
Don’t show me jimmy saville, pervert ,loved him now I hate him grrrrr,
OMG this takes me back to roller skating days!!
At 7:00 sec Jimmy Savile is seen maneuvering his prey.
love the song, hate the graphics
I see a stinking rat at the beginning of video.🥴
Jimmy Savilleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
One hit wonder but what a hit love it 😊
Andy kim's best song by far. The only insert that spoils the video is Jimmy Saville's inclusion at the start. The worst deviant and abuser who blackened the pop world. Sorry Andy that you should share anything with Saville.
He wrote sugar sugar
I just love the 70's!!!!!
hearing music from the past rekindles all sorts of emotions and memories, bitter and sweet, times and places gone and loved ones passed, but music of the past hits a cord in your heart that transports you back to that time when life was carefree (or your mind tricks you into thinking that they were), and stretched way ahead in front of you, and the opportunities were limitless.. music accompanied you on that journey, like bookmarks saving the pages of your life, so when you hear a particular song your heart flicks to that page of your life and you experience that time of your life over again, albeit briefly.. as john miles sang.. "music is my first love, it will be my last" thanks for the music of the past .
Great song
Who is he in a relationship with?
I miss the 70s music
Good song
This music is so cheezy it's beautiful.
Englebert Humperdinck on lead vocal....
FFS its 'Savile', not 'Saville' you imbeciles.....
Nobody gives a shit what brought you here. Nobody gives a flying fuck that you are listening in 2019. We all know who Andy Kim sounds like and we all know who he looks like. If, like the thousands commenting here, you haven't got anything original to say, do the rest of us a big favour and keep your often repeated, assanine comments to yourself....
how the hell do I play that organ solo? I mean, I can't even transcribe it, let alone play it!!!! lol
I have a time machine, rock me slowly
How could anyone down thumb this?...They must be DEAF or just plain DUMB!
Why does he remind me of Greg Brady?
Always liked this song! Classic!

Was that Jimmy Saville in the very beginning?
OMG I think so lol
Sean Kelley Yes it is Savile, he was a regular presenter on Top Of The Pops.xx
Any Ray Donovan fans here?? Because he brought me here
Two chords. Two. It's not complicated in any sense but, you know, great record . . .
Been loving this for 35 years
One of the great songs to come out of the seventies. I always found the rhythms very hypnotic.
Fue una breve moda, donde la música joven alcanzó verdadero desarrollo, sin farsanteria, de honestidad y naturalidad nuncas vistas; una lástima que el joven de todos los tiempos no haya adoptado una actitud permanente en esta hermosa moda.
Loved this song as a little kid. Heard it alot and remember his name being popular. He has a similar voice to Neil Diamond.
I love this song
thought it was David Cassidy!
Deaf people watch music?
Hard to get past the Jimmy Savile in the opening few seconds.
Back when music was real and not mass-produced trash like today.
Members of the Metoo moment must hate this song🤣🤣🤣
Their business.
A very Neil Diamond sounding song.
This style of pop is much, much better than the garbage we have today.
Paedo Savile in the opening moments destroyed this for me.
Omg I love I love..😍😍
2019😀
Look it's Neil Diamond
This goober is awful hes all nasally
Feckin pedo savile in the first few seconds.
Please let's have the 70s music for ever
Love this song - catchy
Great 👍🏻
Nice .. Jimmy saville dancing with a teen-ager at the start 😂
Craig Park
@ Craig Park that is the BBC for you
"On your face, i see a trace of love." So did he jizz on her face? That Andy Kim is dirty!
Great song! Haven't heard this song in a long time and today I heard it and it brought back memories. Had to look it up on YouTube and listen to it and save it on my play list.
I like this song great song from the 70s
What a great song that has stood the test of time.
RIP Mike KING MN 💔💙💔💙🙏🙏🙏🙏
I be singing the shit!!! out of this $ong!!!😹
What Blast from da Past...I loved my classics thanks to my older siblings and parents....give me my old jams any day...oh ya!
Jimmy Saville is in pic
Looks like a young Engelbert Humperdinck
Is that JIMMY SAVILE the pedophile at 5 seconds, this must be from Top of the Pops...ewwww edit that out 👎👎👎👎👎🙀🙀🙀
Time Life commercial!
Remise me of the 60s and 70s when I was growing up
Gina republican transgender remise me of the 60s and 70s when I was growing up
When I want to be young again just for an hour or two, I play my oldies when i was young.
Song starts out kind of like BRANDY by Looking Glass
Not sure how this guy could be confused with Neil diamond.....maybe Peewee Herman....if Peewee Herman sang.
Why did you tube suggest me the subtitles?
