Killswitch Engage - Reject Yourself Lyrics
Oh!
Woah!
Their cries are blown away with the wind
How passive can we be before humanity is lost?
We must not rest while healing is needed
Tear down the veil
That bars your heart from feeling this
Dedicate yourself
Give your souls to compassion
With open arms embrace this heart
With open eyes behold the truth
Embrace this life
So little time is left
We must be relentless
In our pursuit of those in torment
Tear down the veil (tear down the veil)
That bars your heart from feeling this
Dedicate yourself (dedicate yourself)
Become the voice of compassion
With open arms embrace this heart
With open eyes behold the truth
Embrace this life
EEYAAAAAAHHH!
Can you reject yourself?
Can you feel their agony?
In a world that feeds on disregard
Heal the broken hearted

Underrated af
Adam is super talented. Vocalist, guitarist, drummer, producer,.. he can probably play bass too
For me, Howard is still the one... This song is epic af
Love they so much, man, damn this music is gift of the gods. Guitarist sing better than 90% of vocalists another metalcore bands.
2:34-4:00 Jaw dropping
Always felt that this was the best song on the album.
Puhh hard to say....the whole album is a Masterpiece.
@Death Puncher Agreed. The lyrics on this song always seem to hit home with me.
I plow snow to this
This is probably one of the realest wrote songs in this world.
There are no live recordings of this song anywhere, which leads me to believe that it has never been performed live at all. :/ Such a crime.
This would be the one song that I would request them to play if they asked their fans to pick their favorite songs for a live set list.
I really don’t understand why they never decided to play this song live, there must be a reason.
Mirror_ Serpent It’s probably just hard to play
Infiltrator and homewreckers anthem
Only 2800 likes? In 290,000 views? What a bunch of heathens. I wish I had known about KSE a long time ago. These men have a lot of kung fu
Digging KSE more and more every day
I Miss Howard
That breakdown at 2:53 is fucking amazing
Kisame 😍
2:53 Someone stepped on a Lego.
oh men!!!! 😂
Adam strategically placed that Lego there because he wanted to get the sickest scream outta howard.
This will forever be my anthem
Same 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thanks You
The last four lines always get me feeling a certain way. Good shit.
If I had to pick one song from Howard's era that was the absolute best and showcased his talents. This'd be it. Loved it when I first heard it @ 17y.o now gonna be 28
Was that 2008? That's when I heard it, but I was 15 then.
This band's insistence on switching from 4/4 to 3/4 really sets them apart. Killswitch simply has some of the most memorable structure, guitar riffs, choruses, and just songs in general for their genre. One the only metal bands that are more than tolerable.
Cope Land ya get me
600th like 🤘🏻
Ever hear a aong that lifts you up and rips the tears from your soul? This is my song...
One of the things I enjoyed the most about Killswitch is that they have such powerful positive energy about their lyrics and instruments. The music lifts me out of my depression, if even for a moment, is priceless to me.
Well stated my friend. Hang in there
Dude yes, that's exactly why I fell in love with them about 15 years ago. I was a "radio person" and my buddies showed them to me and I instantly fell in love. They've helped me through some of my lowest times. I can't say I love any other band the way I love them.
They are presently helping me getting out of cocaine addiction and im forever graceful to them
Nailed it!
I agree 1000%
Tear down the veil, that blocks your heart, from feeling this..........
That bars not blocks
2:50-3:25ish...my fav 😍
No words, I'm just left like 😱
I love that instrumental outro. very badass. I miss KSE with Howard.
They're both the shit in their own ways man. They're all the same band to me.
Still my favourite ever Killswitch riff.
So fucking crispy
Lyrics as heavy as the sound. I never realized it when I was a kid but the lyrics off this album are so positive and uplifting while still satisfyingly angry sounding
maybe i've been listening to this album too much but i can't hear what other people are hearing when they say it sounds angry
@John Striker i feel the same way, the music isnt angry at all
I love every single song by Killswitch Engage. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Skorp Saiyan sane brother 🤟🏼
Welcome to the club friend.
Me too!! They are amazing! No BETTER THAN AMAZING!!
This song makes me cry! ;_;
Every fuckin time 💙
I can't get enough of Adam D's cleans.... fuuuuuck they smoooooooth.
DoubleACM foreal 10 years later and they still trip me out
Adam's vocals take this album to the next level.
I noticed he was doing more vocals than he was on the End of Heartache. It's never the same when Howard Jones, Pat Lachman or Joel Stroetzel tried doing them live
LazyEye Reacts 🤙🤙🤙🤙
They make this song for me
This Should Be An Anime Intro
i could see this fit with something like Berserk
One of KSE's best. Easily on par with anything Jesse delivered on AoJB. Too often Jesse gets credited with all the rifftastic songs from that era but the band definitely sounded their most crisp and confident on this album.
Christopher Khan this & the end of heartache. both albums were perfection.
Agreed. I really miss the Howard era. Listening to any of the new KSE songs just doesn't make me feel any emotion unlike when this guy sings (even on the self-titled record from 2009).
All their albums are amazing including their demos.
I got into KSE with the Jesse stuff but I think I've grown to prefer Howard era.
@Christopher Khan bruh have you even listened? go do a heavy set of deadlifts and power cleans to their new stuff and tell me you don't appreciate it. maybe. just my advice \m/
Badass song...
This song has basically an extended badass outro for 2 minutes to me.
Yes badass song
