my tickets ready literly was sad when i got the bad news of them canceling there us tour.

Gutted I didn't get to see them at any of the UK dates following the album's release. Having seen them 6 times before I miss them showcasing the best thing they've done!

I'm new to Killing Joke. I actually think they've progressed over time. This last album has some moments of brilliance. This song in particular is amazing.

Why is KJ production always so sh*te?

+Marty Helbig My point is not about who has the best taste. It's just a question about lo-fi album production and poor live sound. Their album recordings and live sound do no justice whatsoever to their musicality. Early recordings did.

+bufon63, i didn't take offense, i am just curious what your perspective is so I can cue in on that and be a better listener, and i do agree that some components of their sound is overpowering but isn't that part of the KJ lopsided dissent?

+Marty Helbig This track for example, sounds like Geordie's got the worst cheap ass tube modeller pedal around. He uses a Framus for god's sake, which do not sound fuzzy and fizzy like this.

More than a hint of "Pssyche" to this, but excellent all the same. KJ are at their best with these high-impetus tracks that are properly sung by Jaz.

"Absolute Dissent", "Trance", were also a kind of hint of "Pssyche", but that's Killing Joke, and getting better and better...

@anthony angströms also "Complications" ... but that awesome and unique riff all started with "Are You Receiving?" ...

je reconnais que c'est cool de pouvoir entendre les nouveaux morceaux , mais bon ...... le disque "cd" n'est même pas encore dans nos rayons "chez nos disquaires" en France et bientôt tout sera disponible comme ça , je suis stupéfait alors que derrière il y a un putain de travail , d'engagement et qui vas acheter leur disque , vraiment , réellement, physiquement ?
