This is a great album. So many just took the memeification of this album on the internet to heart and never gave it a fresh, honest listen. It's gorgeous and dark yet people want to focus on simple guitar playing or a few corny lyrics.

Damn. I was 15 years old when this album came out. I was coping with heavy depression, Loneliness, anxiety. And when I heard this album for the first time. I didnt understand it at first, but after listening to this many more times. I can say I really do appreciate this album. Cudi was in a dark state of mind, while creating this album. this was his way of helping others relate to what he was going through. And I'm glad I dont feel so alone anymore thanks to Cudi

Most superficial fans will overlook this album as his worst, but the motive and intention behind it alone make it one of my favorite projects ever from him. It isn’t even that bad sounding either, this song, confused, and SB2H are literally some of his best tunes, ppl are just too small minded to look outside of trends, and the trend w this album was to hate it. Shoulda been WZRD 2 imo but otherwise I harbor nothing but love for this project and hope everyone else that has listened to it and been able to relate to it on a deeper, emotional level find that solace that Cudi tried to give us w this #CudFam4Life

I always tell myself I'm going to improve. I always tell myself "this is the day, this is the week, this is the month, this is the year" but it never fucking works out. I always fail and do the same thing. No amount of motivational music or quotes can help me out anymore. No idols to look up to can bring me to out of this lifelong fucking rot. I give up. I'm going to stop trying. I made it this far and I can't go any farther. I'm just going to accept this loneliness, disappointment, and boredom that plagues my soul every day.

Why do people hate this album so much?cause it's a different sound or what?

There are a select few songs on the album I like and I think the album has an okay start, but to me you realize a big majority of the songs are just the same little guitar or instrumental loop and the songs just don't seem to go anywhere. I would understand if this was maybe a 30 or 40 minute album, but I see it as 90+ minutes of Cudi slurring or yelling his words into these amateur riffs and I genuinely get a headache when I listen to the album for too long. I am not here to shit on your music taste if you do like this as I respect all music opinions, and I don't necessarily think this album is a 0/10 like Anthony Fantano is saying and it being one of the worst albums ever, but come on. This is Kid Cudi! He can come out with as many punk rock records or grunge I guess you can call it, but he can do better than what he came out with in my opinion.@Christian Ocon
