How is that? Kerli's songs actually have depth, it's not all glitz and glamour. This song is about self-acceptance, not money, clothes and fake teen love or any of the stuff people go on about nowadays. Try listening to song before making judgements, if you will.

But yes, some people become anorexic due to masochistic or OCD type reasons. Its not a "diet gone wrong" or "restricting gone extreme" ALL the time. In fact the best way to gain weight fast (someday) is to have anorexia which injures the body and metabolism. Slow weight loss is best but some go fast or have bad body image issues that cause them to go about it wrong. There are many causes for it. Just wanted to say that its possible to diet WITHOUT being anorexic. But I think the song might be

I don't like the whole "girl becomes anorexic because she was told she was fat" thing because it furthers the prejudices that all weight loss diets are eating disorders and that thin = anorexic. Even doctors can mistake thin (not even underweight sometimes, just thin) for an eating disorder and this can lead to them ignoring the patient's problems to talk about anorexia and if a girl patient suddenly drops weight unintentionally and sees a doctor about it they'll be like Oh she's just anorexic.

I was just in China for over 2 weeks. And I wanted to ask you, are you joking? They drink so much Coke and Sprite. It was in every single restaurant we went to. We had to request water and it came in a tiny plastic bottle. But it is true, barely any fat people in Asia because they eat so healthy.

P.s: Chinese women are naturally thin and slim, but not skinny. If you do some research, you'll see that they're health (such as most asians') is almost perfect, they eat lots of healthy food and really care for their bodies. Is just genetic ^.^

1st of all: Chinese Women are the last in the world who want to look like a Barbie Doll. Actually, in case you don't know, Asia's beauty standard is way diferent from western ones.
2nd: Barbie isn't pretty for me anymore, though I was a huge fan of her when little. She is the image of western beauty standard's perfection, and physical perfection sucks.
3rd: If you want to look like a Barbie Doll, forget it. Look foward to be pretty, to reach what is pretty 4 you, not 4 society.

Changing ones appearance and being dissatisfied with your current one is okay. People are always like "Be happy with yourself" but you have to ask WHY. If you gain 50 lbs due to prescription drugs by accident, your personal taste in beauty and preference for your own appearance shouldn't change.

(pt6) Anyways, Americans don't wanna look like Barbie; Chinese women apparently do though. I don't think Barbie is pretty; in fact, a real life version of that thing would be like a monster. but it is possible to have an hourglass figure. If you're fat and that's what YOU WANT, then go on and be fat...unless it's causing you harm of course. Don't settle. If YOU want to be like Barbie, than go for it. Barbie is based off a real lady, and she probably wasn't proportioned like that.
