Kenny Loggins - All The Pretty Little Ponies Lyrics

Hush a bye
Don't you cry
Go to sleep my little baby
When you wake
You shall have
All the pretty little ponies

In your bed
Momma said
Baby's riding off to dreamland
One by one
They've begun
Dance and prance for little baby
Blacks and bays, dapples and greys
Running in the night
When you wake
You shall have
All the pretty little ponies

Can you see the little ponies
Dance before your eyes
All the pretty little ponies
Will be there when you arise

Can you see the little ponies
Shining before your eyes
All the pretty little ponies
Gonna be there when you arise

Hush a bye
Don't you cry
Go to sleep my little baby
When you wake
You shall have
All the pretty little ponies
All the pretty little ponies
All the pretty little ponies

Kenny Loggins All The Pretty Little Ponies Comments

Man I used to listen to this every night from my birth to around 10 to 11 years of age. Back then I went to a different school and had completely different friends who I haven't seen in years. It was like a different life. Hearing this again is like a time machine back to when life was much simpler. Now I'm almost 17 and am decently educated in music. Coming back to this knowing it was Kenny Loggins covering people like John Lennon and Jim Henson with the help of people like Crosby and Nash is insane. Hopefully someday I can play this to my son or daughter. I'll probably cry but that's ok. This album is amazing. Thank you Kenny.

  20. M.... g....

Recently got into his christmas album from 1998. He went through a phase I'm sure around 1994-2000 where he used some new age sounds.

  21. M.... K....

24 and still listening to this CD whether I can't sleep, had a rough day and mom can't talk or just need a good memory to look back on. Wish there was more music like this.

Linda Ronstadt did an album like this for Elektra in 1996. It has pop tunes from the 60s and 70s with reinterpretation . They include: Dedicated to the one I Love (The Shirelles and also The Mamas and the Papas), Devoted to You (Everly Brothers), Baby I Love You, Angel Baby, Be My Baby (Ronettes), We Will Rock You (Queen), Good Night (The Beatles). 11 tracks in all

  22. F.... ....

This song put so many children to sleep lol. i think if my mom hadn't sung this to me as a child I'd be a completely different person.

  23. C.... S....

This is what we use to put the children to sleep during their nap time
