When I arrived at CU Law in Boulder, CO August of 1990 my first day at the law school I noticed a sign at the entrance to the library which was written latin which I could not read and understand. So I asked the librarian what it meant and she said "you are not in Kansas anymore". At the time, I was not aware of the Wizard of Oz movie, so I said "Yes we are in Boulder." Obviously I had a lot to learn, beyond the law at law school.... Therefore, this song means a lot to me.

I have been wishing here for the last couple of weeks that I could be that little old tin man sitting out back in my flower bed all he does is stand in that same spot day and night doesn't really do anything but I love that little old tin man my mom put him there a few years back b4 she passed an that really tore me up the day she went but I know she's not gone even tho i know she made it to heaven she is a part of that little old tin man an when Im hurt from words or fighting I just look at that little old man an ask God why I couldn't be more like that little old tin man he has nothing to hold on to an no worries
