I agree completely. The title is the only thing wrong with this song. I always thought "Sunshine At Midnight" is a much more appropriate and magical title for this wonderful song. Thanks for your feedback. Rock on Kelly Pickler! You rock!!!!

This is probably the direction her music should take for a successful career, pretty obvious looking at the comments.  For me though disheartening, I was really hoping she'd take a turn back towards the more traditional sound she exhibited one 100 proof.   I saw her live and she was great, really enjoyed the show.  This song sounds auto tuned and very pop like, I won't insult it because there's music for everyone but just not my preference, no feeling for me.

@robwas This is a fun country/rockin' love song and I love when she rocks out like this because country/rock is my favorite style and Kellie is one of the best at it! I don't hear autotune and she's a great singer who has never needed it at all. I love 100 Proof and the diversity of styles on her first album Small Town Girl. I remember Kellie said that album has something for everyone, pure country, country/rock, and country/pop songs. I'm guessing and kind of hoping her 5th album might be similar. Pure pop is the only thing I'd like her to avoid and many people like that too but I think she's better at country, country/rock, and country/pop. Also she nailed all of her country, pop/rock and rock (Bohemian Rhapsody) performances on Idol.

Yeah, I hope her all the best on her new label, she really is one of my
favorite "new" country singers for sure. Very personable too at her
show, she stuck around for autographs and the like with a huge line of
fans. I just am hoping to hear a few songs I like on the new album,
absolutely love it when she does traditional stuff. As far as auto
tune, melodyne or whatever is used it's actually very rare to find
anything not pitch corrected out of the studio but what I hear could be
some echo, etc it can be hard to tell. One of the few artists vocally
against any sort of auto tune is Allison Moorer, she actually prints it
right on her cd's that no sort of manipulation or auto tune was used but
now it's become almost standard for studio recordings and in many cases
live shows. Listen to some Tim McGraw live shows on tv and you'll
understand. As artists age sometimes it becomes harder for them to get
it right on and auto tune can help, other times it's used for effect
like Kanye West, lots of rap, Kid Rock, even Eric Church whom I respect a
lot used it for a bit to give that sound on his cd. Sorry to ramble on,
perhaps one day the pop country sound will strike a chord within my
soul and I'll be able to relate, obviously many people are including
yourself which is great, something for everyone. Cheers, Rob
