Finally saw him up close in concert last month here in VA. What a an energetic awesome performance. Opening up his show with this song gets everybody up on our feet.

Keith is trying to continue to evolve his musical style sound.......This music has a touch of industrial rhythm like a "Nine Inch Nails" track, and has a distinct middle eastern vibe........ It would seem that Keith is not only trying to combine genres of music he is also trying to make a type of hybrid "world music" style using his country voice.
Very interesting.

It's a song dedicated to his dad when he died and the song is also about how Keith wants to live the rest of life to the fullest before tommorow hits and may never wake up again.

I love Keith and his music, I love every song of his but this one. It sounds like Genesis with a banjo, and I hate Genesis' music. So disappointed.

+Bblluuee24 Hansen He mixes and changes his set list a bit each night and brings back a lot of old songs of his because people like those, too. I personally love Ripcord (I didn't care for it at first, but a few listens later, I was hooked).

+Alexandra Littke same I'm not saying it's bad I like it I bought the album off Amazon it's just hard to get used to it because it's so different from his music is all I'm saying

the vocals are really processed, and not so much with Autotune, but just the typical delays, compression and "sweetening" that you find in pop music vocals for years now...., as Keith is really trying cross over into that market with this sound.

It's different from his usual music but it's so good. I love it! I'm happy it's Keith Urban singing it.

Fastguitars he sounds AMAZING live! Saw his Graffiti U concert last night. His vocals were on point! Best concert I've seen in my 50 years 👍☺️
