I got so far to understand that she was kind of addicted of a certain guy and truly loved him but he only pushed her around- right ?

The song is basically from what I understand is about an off an on relationship were the guy doesn't treat her right. He ignored her when he didn't need her for something but she loved him. And it hurt because she wanted to hear compliments and 'I love you's. It left her feeling as if all she was and could be was amazing or worth any attention for a short period of time. She tried not to believe that but it became to often, to repetitive for her not to begin blaming herself for the problems in their relationship. She stopped trying to make herself feel better and be more confident. She loved him too much to see his faults before the damage was done.

She is saying that the guy she was with made her feel amazing for a minute and that's all she will ever be.

Honestly just reminds me of my boyfriend. We don't even talk.. He never asks for hugs except one time some guy called him a "fag" and to prove he wasn't gay he said "come here baby" and hugged me... I know this song is probably about a girl and a boy, but I relate to this because of my friends. They completely ignore me when they have their other friends around. Then, when they fall out with each other or don't have anyone else they turn to me and I truly feel like they don't mean to ignore me, that they really do want to talk more and that they really do miss me. Then, not long after, they're friends again and I suddenly don't exist anymore.


I fall for it every time, even though I should be used to it. I have very few real friends.

I also have social anxiety, which makes it impossible for me to make new friends. That's why I'm getting left behind.

this is what i felt with my friends, that is why in the end i stop falling for it and left them. they always left me out, i could disappear from right under their noses and they wouldn't even notice. i felt like a just didn't belong so one day i got up and left them. and guess what? they still haven't noticed.
