I think "Wuthing Heights" is great. "Running Up That HIll" is really good. And " This Woman's Work" is her greatest. Truly mesmerizingly in beauty. But damn if she isn't an underrated beauty...I mean I know people find her beautiful, but I think people are hesitant to point it out because they're afraid people will brand them as sexist or "not recognizing her talent". I recognize it all...but if her stage performance was coming from a less attractive girl I do think people wouldn't be nearly as enthralled. And that's okay...there's nothing wrong with beauty and understanding its more important than we'd like to admit. Especially in this day and age where everybody lies about what they're really thinking and believe lest the gestapo/religion of pc destroys their very lives...

I first looked up Sensual World after it was mentioned in a comment in Peter Murphy's video Cuts You Up (don't know why it was being compared). I now consider her one of my favorite artists as well. @Angelica Iris that's so cool!! i think the way i found her was by like seeing her in comments on other videos and hearing that she had a voice like nobody else so i was like wow i need to hear this. then i heard her in the handmaid's tale with her song cloudbusting, and i loved it so i checked her out, and i listened to all of her top 10 songs on spotify lol and now i'm obsessed. i had heard her name before, but never realized she was like exactly my music taste and exactly what i needed in life.

To me this song is very beautiful and sad , it shows how fickle people are , this song specifically mentions the theater, and though it's the same art its different from film. To be a student of the craft means you are always under the scrutiny of the public as well as others in the field. It's a world of shadows , pretence and illusion. I am for using those gifts of the trade, for the art and performance. But these illusions makes it hard to see the person underneath. So the crowds and throngs of fake admirers and judgmental fans
Make up they own ideas of who they think the actors really are behind mayas veil.
They smile and tell you how great you are and stir the gossip with the other hand. But most of us in the field already know this
and accept it with the work. Being an actor who's straight I have
no reason to judge others on they're personal life , or have anyone judge me , but it's about having to deal with the ignorance and arrogance that exists in the public that people working in the industry shouldn't have to deal with and do.
