I really don't think he's "high" on anything except having a good laugh... He's pretty well known for his humour! He is lovely, and if you search his name on here you'll see that he seems really grounded and not at all druggy! All hail the Beggion! :-D

As much as I don't want to, I gotta agree with you. The music here sounds alot like something you would hear from any of these new alternative rock bands nowadays. I'm not sayin its a bad song, it just a sound I wasn't expecting from Kajagoogoo. I thought "Space Cadet" was one of the better new tracks from him. It still has a different sound compared to their old stuff, but Nick Beggs lays down another great bass line. He's the reason I got into Kajagoogoo, he's a great talent!!

You're right. In the States, they are a one hit wonder. It doesn't mean the rest of their music sucks. It just means that the rest their music wasn't as accessible to people, who generally, don't know a damn thing about music. Some of those bands really are bad though, but not Kajagoogoo. Nick Beggs is quite a good bassist and he knows his stuff. Hes terribly underrated - I had an easier time learning rush tunes compared to some of his work. And 'faggot'? Come on now, grow up dude

i love this man...he is one of the reasns i became a bass player...id give anything to see them live one day (im in USA) id pay a high pricve to a charity as well just to meet him and tell him my story and what he means to me..

He plays live with Steven Wilson and Steve Hackett, and is so fantastic... hope you get to see him... Everyone who knows him adores him too... a really friendly, warm guy who doesn't play that aloof star thing... I hope you get to see him and maybe meet him!

John Taylor is a highly under-rated bass player. Both he and Nick Beggs were the monster bass cats of their genre.

Rocket Boy is a lot of fun and very very catchy IMHO a hit!! Kajagoogoo have always improved...White Feathers to Islands to Crazy People. The forth album will be better still. They are enjoying recording and Nick has written some awsome songs so it looks good for the 4th
