Exactly the same here. I was totally wrong about this song and I know 2 other people who have changed their minds about this song, after hearing it again for the first time in more than 30 years on Top of the pops 1983. It must be one of the slowest "growers" of all time!

Glad you like a slightly noisy EP played back with slightly insufficient weight on the needle. 45 rpm singles can sound better than this, even back in the 80s they did. The difficult part was making the 33rpm LP sound good, check out MJ's Thriller LP which should be pretty easy to find, sold millions.

Love kajagoogoo; they never should've sacked Limahl! They would have had huge worldwide success if they hadn't of sacked him!

You may well be right although we'll never know, of course, but Islands, the album that made without Limahl is a far superior record to White feathers.

I'm glad they did sack him as he would have turned them into a crap pop act like Jason and Kylie. His solo material is the pits.
