K's Choice - Paradise In Me Lyrics
Consuming far too much
Ignoring the will to touch
The ones who don't have food at all...
I'm breathing
We watch Wheel of Fortune now
I close my eyes and try to see
A piece of paradise in me
Beat me up
And smash my brand new TV
To help me look for
A little piece of paradise in me
I'm dancing, I'm writing songs
About those who can't dance at all...
I'm only jumping
I'm only freaking out
And I wonder what it's all about
To close my eyes and finally see
A piece of paradise in me
Beat me up
And smash my brand new TV
To help me look for
A little piece of paradise in me
A little piece of paradise in me

That depressing buzzkill moment when Music Choice plays this while you're partying lol
This album came out before 2001 cause I was in middle school. This info says 2009, hahahahaha. No
Almost 7 Months sober
The first time I heard this song was on a cassette tape I received in 1994 at the 99.1 radio station concert HFStival. I'm 72 hours sober and this song hits me in my feelings on a level I can't even begin to describe. I am sober. I am an addict. I'm a junkie. I'm a fucking pathetic piece of shit. But I'm alive.

Perfection by this cool band

"Sober now I'm cold alone..." I listened to this song a lot when I first got clean and that part I could really relate to. I was completely numb for months and months and honestly thought I wasn't going to make it. I thought I was a junkie forever. Well by the grace of God i waited it out day by day and am over a year clean and sober. Things aren't perfect but i no longer have that overwhelming compulsion to get high. I'm pretty content overall and don't have to wake up sick everyday. If you're out there struggling it does get better if you truly give it a shot.

Why does this have the same beat as Zombie?
You know...it kinda does!! Wow :)
Lots of music use similar patterns
I wore this cassette out.
Love her raspy singing voice. It's a great song, but that voice just elevates it for me. It kind of makes me wonder if it would hit me quite the same if someone else sang it, though I think Chan Marshall/Catpower could do it justice. Love those raspy voiced female singers.
I saw an Alan is morisette concert in Ohio in 96' and Is choice opened for her and I remember hearing this song for the first time and I loved it and the I forgot about until a month ago and I googled who opened for Alan is and I finally found this song. Holy shit I wonder how many other great songs that my memory failed me on.
One of My Favorite Songs ever made, dark, deep, Incredible
I swear, we have the same music taste. I see you in the comments of so many songs I listen to.
