This song and the whole Cocoon Crash album got me through high school. This band is such a gem.

This song is the reason I got hooked to K's Choice in my teens. Being hooked to this group back then is the reason I can write and speak in proper English today (I'm French). It's the reason I started playing the guitar and piano, because it made realize how strongly music can influence our emotions. It pretty much unlocked my interest in music. I'm proud and lucky that my favourite band when I was a teenager is such a good motherfucking band.

Sarah's timbre (especially when singing with Gert) is one of the few things of beauty in this world that I cling to when I feel really bad even now. The songs are well written, the melodies beautiful, the execution by the whole band stellar and the arrangements just perfect. And it just feels like they're good people, too. If I were to pick a limited list of artists people have to try at least once, I'd pick some Simon & Garfunkel, I'd pick some Radiohead, perhaps some Alt-J and Seabear and Breathe Owl Breathe… and of course, in the first place in my heart, I'd pick K's Choice. In no particular order, they're not competing, at this level.

What a crying shame that songs like these will never reach some people's ears even once. I feel sad that some people today might think they're not that much into music because they've never had an epiphany like this song was for me. Thank you to all the band.

I have been trying for over a decade to find a 90's song where the lyrics had the singer shrieking a chorus of "I'M DOING FINE!" in a phone call to her Dad. The song alludes to her being a runaway calling her Dad.

I used to listen to it on "The Edge" in New Mexico when I was stationed there from 1991-1996

actually im flemish and we have some dialects that are very distant from dutch. Also if you compare the language in the netherlands to the 'dutchspeaking' belgians its sort of american english versus UK-english.

And since when did I mention that Belgium IS part of Scandinavia?! Maybe you should've read the comment properly as I was only referring to Scandinavians!And all the Scandinavians (not Belgians) I've met have stated that they grew up watching American shows/movies, which has influenced their accent when speaking English. And to add - the American accent is also heavily influenced by the IRRRRRish.
