Julia Holter - Hello Stranger Lyrics

She has a gorgeous voice. Absolutely pure and so strong. I would love to see her singe this with a proper band and full studio backing. This is nice but the whole thing sounds like an intro that's about to break out into a full blown jam and it never does. This girl has much more talent than is shown with such a limited arrangement.

Incredibly haunting, absolutely beautiful rendition and performance. All of Juilia Holters album are great but this track is a definite favorite. Choice.

I have always loved this magical song. Stripped of the beat, as you have done here, leaves the pure emotion of the song which is spectacular and powerful. Songs like this are a gift. There's no way a songwriter can make this happen on their own, a perfect combination of melody, lyrics, and the inflections given during the performance.
