This is one of my very favorite of all Priest songs. It has a regal tone to it--a real presence!

The intro reminds me of the rhythm riffs during the solo on "Touch of Evil". Or am I crazy??

the album goes easy at first, pretty good, you could have it in the background while doing something else. But then comes a point where you have to leave everything on hold and apreciate the brilliance of it.

I've been a priest fan for over 30 years and this is by far the best album and they were brilliant at barcelona

At first I feel this album is quite boring but now listening again I think it's one of the best albums.

It's a tie between this song and March of the Damned as my fav.... love the whole album

best album they made imo all the songs are amazing and sound different in their own unique way and I've listen to all the previous albums and I think this is the best composed album and with not one bad song, a Masterpiece!

@shayner67681 I love this album, but I think it would have been even better if there were only 10 songs. I could live without Metalizer (I think it's very weak), Redeemer of Souls and March of the Damned.

Man March of the Damned is one of my favorites form the album, and I quite like Metalizer. The title track is kinda bland, though.

3:17 solo....That is Glenn, not Ritchie, right? In any event....one of the best solo parts on the whole CD.

@TheCorrectViews, the whole solo is by Richie I'm sure. Only the presolo guitar melody is by Glenn. The style of playing is obvious after some time.

Very good song. My personal opinion though it's time for Priest to pack it in. Same goes for Rush and Sabbath.

This whole album is epic, a "tribute" of sorts to many, many great sounds/riffs/solos by not just Priest but other Metal Gods;  I hear undeniable Maiden/Murray influence, some Deep Purple, Kirk Hammet and many others that no doubt will emerge as I digest this monstrous work...

This song is positively intoxicating. Some of the fans are always looking for Priest songs to absolutely bash their heads in with brutality, like Painkiller ( the song ), or All guns blazing, and I've been admittedly guilty of that too. But if you sit back, relax, and just feel how heavy yet melodic this song is, not to mention the sheer artistry going on with all aspects of the song, it is truly mind blowing, at least to my ears. This isn't just a song, it's a piece of art....

it's   dark    and a  slow  but  heavy  song  awesome  feel  and  lyrics.

Love this and Hell and Back. The two stinky tracks are Metalizer (what a stupid song) and the title track which is just a reheated Hell Patrol.

 Reheated Hell Patrol? The only similarities I hear are the drums (which doesn't mean much" and the first few notes on the main riff. And Metalizer is amazing. The only part I don't like is the chorus

This kinda reminds me of a Fight song like Laid to Rest or maybe even Halford off of Crucible. The follow-ups to each weren't really up to expectations.

No doubt that's been weighing on Rob for years and we finally see what would happen if JP did one of those songs. The answer; pure awesomeness

Sorry guys, but that intro sounds like Spinal Tap, I expect a tiny Stone Hinge to drop from the ceiling. The rest.... well, to me it's just not Priest.  I'll have to listen to more of the album, but this song just didn't do it for me.

After having listened to the album almost every day for over a month, it's still my 2nd favorite song after Sword of Damocles.

Oh God... How can someone can make a song like this? A FUCKING MASTER PIECE! Only Metal Gods can! What a powerful riff, accompanied with the perfect beat on drums by Scott Travis! And minute 3:27... Again... Oh God... They know the perfect way of making me cry... Epic... Simply EPIC! Surely one of the greatest in the album!

This one, Sword Of Damocles and Halls Of Valhalla make me think of what it would be like if Rob Halford sang with Iron Maiden.  Very epic, like Victim Of Changes, but kind of different in sound.  I like the different direction of these.
