Turbo is a good pop rock/ metal album, no more no less. Some person described it as hideous. Give me a break? AC/DC ( Fly on the Wall), and VAN HALEN ( III) are hideous. I defy you to CRANK the song Turbo and tell me it sucks. No it is not a great album, which would describe British Steel, Sad Wings of Destiny and Painkiller. Give it a whirl one of these days and you might be surprised at how good it is.

I love that Priest has always had a visual & musical theme for each album and stage set. I know the screens everyone uses now are more practical, but they're not really a set piece or backdrop.

Seen these guys in 2009. What a show they did. Needless to say my ears were ringing for two days .

My only question is, why the hell guys don't have similar stage right now? Robs voice is the best in 30yrs, just released one of the best albums of their career but the Firepower stage is simply horrible. Don't get it. I love this or Defenders of the Faith stage much much more. I hope for better in Wacken

I wonder if the synth intro is on tape. I know Iron Maiden did that around this same time, with Caught Somewhere In Time. The slow intro was on tape, and the band only started playing once it went into the fast section, about a minute into the song.

Agree. I hate Turbo but this song works well live. It is also a great way for Rob to warm up his voice for songs to come in the concert.

Now that's a power ballad! Even a slower Judas Priest song hits fucking hard in concert. I remember the Hampton Coliseum concert of this tour when Rob Halford had to patiently tell the intense fans to back up a few steps for a real fear of the stage front to collapse. Once finally solved, the concert was yet another impressive and loud concert. The word "epic" honestly describes Judas Priest concerts.

I saw this tour. People criticized the crap out of this and said Priest wimped out. I thought the album was awesome...then came Ram it Down...I went to that show also. Holy fuck it was like Priest kicked everyone in the balls for saying they wimped out. They opened with Hellion Electric Eye, Same thing Rob dropping on stage from a cage. Just fuckin epic.

Heavy metal bands have always been the best at suspenseful entrances and theatrics, but JP are the kings! And unlike some others bands, the music is still number one for Priest. The entrance of the musicians and then Rob (and the dry ice;-)) - classic, and the stage looks like a set from The Empire Strikes Back. K.K.'s sustained notes are the icing on the cake. I cant think of a more perfect production!

Seen them so many times, from my very first concert I ever went to in '82 on the World Vengeance tour to present. This song always gives me chills, the best song on this great album... Nobody matches them, they will always be THE Metal Gods!

I saw the show in Houston the night before this concert was filmed in Dallas, never forget that epic entry.

Loved Priest since my brother first spun Unleashed in the East on his green and blue record player. This tour was the first time I saw them, and in IMO, this album was the death of the Priest I enjoyed. Even this concert, opening with a slow love song, no thanks. From Glenn and K.K.'s poofy hair to the 80s guitar designs, I mourned my loss that day.
