One of my favorite songs along with Kiss Me Softly. Steve always puts so much expression and meaning in his songs. You will see what I mean when he sings When You Love A. Woman! He has a way of pulling you into his songs . I wish he was young and just starting to sing so I could go to concerts again.

it is just great to listen to journey and I do not care who is singing ( SP, SA, AP) they are all good and leave journey with a multiplicity of sound that no other group can claim

like others i am not sure why there's a debate. what you're talking about is the difference between good singers (augeri and pineda) and a great great vocalist and great singer in perry who had unreal range and could hit notes pineda and augeri could only dream about. pineda and augeri strugle with notes steve did with ease and for many years nightly. bottom line: steve wins out easily over both pineda & augeri on "pure" overall vocal ability. it should not be a discussion.

In my opinion, Neal had to be a child prodigy---who gets recruited by Clapton & Carlos Santana before they're out of their teens??? I think he's phenomenal with a guitar.
