Saw these guys live with Randy Jackson. He is one bad ass bass player. Period. I saw Steve Perry a few years later when he was doing his solo thing. All I can say is dayum! He did 4 encores! The third one was supposed to be the end of the show. The house lights came up. The road crew were packing up the stage gear. But, no one was leaving. The entire crowd was chanting "Steve! Steve! Steve!" About 15 minutes later, the road crew put everything back up and they played another 30 minutes. They pulled out old B side stuff from Evolution, Departure and Infinity. It was pure magic. I will never forget that show if I live to be 1000.

And let's not forget how great Neil, John, Randy and Steve were. But holy shit Steve sounds like a studio session. Amazing.
